1. Although rivals in every sense, Team Rocket is very stylish, and is clearly a better fashion choice when compared to dressing like a Pokémon.
2. The unassuming Boylston street drinking crowd, faced with an onslaught of about 280 passionate poke-party-people, would have been better suited dealing with a bus fleet of Yankee fans. Perfectly hospitable, they were still visibly confused.
3. You need not worry about embarrassment when whipping out your Pokewalker. After encountering the fifth person with multiple pedometers in several languages, embarrassment quickly turn into jealousy.
4. You really do need to drink them all.
5. Referring to people strictly via a color outside the racial spectrum was incredibly uplifting. Ok, I was team yellow, but it was Pikachu yellow. It’s a different yellow. As with Red. Don’t question it. You had to be there.
6. As a native, It’s your job to let visitors know the laws of the land. Especially the cool ones.
7. You might end up with trading cards of game journalists. It’s ok, while not all that valuable, perhaps you could attach them to a bicycle in some act of post-modern man-child time-warp rebellion.
8. Mew is a harsh mistress.
9. Just like college, the professor’s a pretty cool dude.
10. Buttons are shiny.
and as any pub crawl, the team that escorts members home is the team that wins -- TEAM BLUE IS SUPER EFFECTIVE

half the bars couldn't fit two teams in at a time but it was a blast.
nothing like a local pounding on a window your standing outside of so that he can get a picture of the guys in costume.
i'm so ready for PAX now.

You party animal! I ran into some SFX-360 people and they specifically remembered seeing the Pikachus.
I am super glad I went for the bit that I did and that I dressed up for it cause people actually recognized me...I'm now thinking about wearing my Cynthia cosplay again this weekend

I also fell in love with the bar tender at kings. Physical abuse and an amazing rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart. /swoon
She was great. She kept celebrating when we left, and then we'd be right back there in 15 minutes and she would give us the dirtiest looks...but I can't shake the feeling that she loved us.
Because I really need to get in on it if it is.
