I like Mike better than Joel. Joel is much more a "stoned giggler" type while Mike often comes up with things more generally funny to those people not rockin' the weed.

it was just sorta surprising that after all this time he had some hate-blue-balls going then he finds out and then is like "oh, pfft, that's not even a real religion anyway and you aren't really religious" and he used that as a way to dismiss everything i said that was angering him
it was sorta cute in its own way
I dislike his whole philosophy where he gets to be the arbiter of everyone else's identity.

Casual Eddy, you don't post as often as you used to.
I hope that it is because of success and not because you found another forum.
I was wavering on the Qingu subject for years now until I saw the "artist / responsibility" thread. It may have been the worst debate OP I've ever read.
But man, if I pointed out every post I giggled at it would be ridiculous. I already feel like I do that too much, and then when I don't people think I didn't giggle.

he once tried to tell me my mom's not really a catholic because she encouraged her sons to use condoms when they became sexually active
i was like "maaaan, you are so full of yourself it is madness"

I should be going to sleep. But I am going to watch Breaking Bad instead.

I really get where he is coming from (because daaamn, so much of what people who call themselves Christian believe has absolutely nothing to do with the scripture it's crazy) but I respond to it differently. Basically, I think Quingu just needs to do some more research about the early history of the religion and especially the various branches it through in the first 300 years. The range of beliefs people stuff into that label nowadays isn't anything new and should not be taken as some kind of neologism or insult.
the problem Qingu has with religion debates is not one exclusive to him
it's actually really common on the internet!
and that's people who can only really argue against religion if it stays rigidly defined in the box they have built for it
if a person isn't a literalist about their stated religion, for example, or don't follow the entirety of all doctrines associated with that religion, and whathaveyou
they sorta lose their ability to argue against it because they aren't sure what they are arguing against anymore
now, some people might see this as the chance instead to ask people stuff about what they believe and address that individually
but some just say "Well, pfft, you aren't really one of those people, then."
that's what Qingu does
he's got his preconceived notions of what religion is and what religious people think and when he has evidence to the contrary, he just dismisses it as being outside the terms he believes he is the authority on defining

That's fine so long as he has a rigid and constant definitino of what religion IS.
Because then one can point out internal contradictions and nail him.

I won't lie. I was expecting more hair then you had in those pictures.
i don't see strange dress.
but yes that is not an uncommon answer.
Making out with everyone.

You fucks just ignored this decent-good post.
you are probably going to be known as the king of gay chicken now, kakos
the man who out-gay-chickened the Bear Jew
i am unsure what my internet persona is these days
i had a handle on it at one time
I would say that it would be pretty hard for you to blend into the background Kakos.
You're not like the other forumers.
I have a pair of scissoring asian girls to prove it.
a cop walked through all the cars with a civilian in his twenties who looked very much like he's traveling quite a distance
i'm guessing someone stole the dude's bag or something
sucks
You're the commie bear. You are at no risk of blending.
But man, if I pointed out every post I giggled at it would be ridiculous. I already feel like I do that too much, and then when I don't people think I didn't giggle.
IT'S AN ENDLESS CYCLE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
he once tried to tell me my mom's not really a catholic because she encouraged her sons to use condoms when they became sexually active
i was like "maaaan, you are so full of yourself it is madness"
no, the third one i was telling yo-I MEAN WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO ME, STRANGER WHO I DON'T KNOW
It was lost adrift, sorry SOTAR
Really? I adore those kinds of arguments.
mostly because I love me some Leviticus, and there's probably something in there with which any christian would disagree.
SATE MY EGO DAMMIT!
SATE IT
uhm
no other forum. i guess i've been going out more?
I would never disagree with the word of the lord.
I will never forget the commie dance. Or the shaved hammer and sickle.
That one time we played D20 Modern over IRC was cool too.
Especially not the stuff which contradicts the other stuff.

Now how will I see jiggling boobs?

I basically know kakos for his avatar.
look at the anime thread
I barely even listen to any metal these days, so it's sort of refreshing and familiar.
Let me introduce you to the internet.
What? I'm on the internet right now. How does this help me?
That's fine so long as he has a rigid and constant definitino of what religion IS.
Because then one can point out internal contradictions and nail him.
There's a lot better ways to see jiggling boobs.
But Pony, sex should only be for babies. You don't do it for the pleasure of sex. Nobody seems to get this.
Yeah my 360 is broken too.
Don't worry! A new DoAX game is coming out for the PSP soon.
but this only works when a person claims to be a literalist!
when they don't
when they're just like "oh, well, i interpret my faith, i don't see all of what is written at one time as the entire truth"
then it sorta falls apart
Plus I listen to almost every genre of metal (besides Hair, even I am not that gay) so I basically only have the best stuff from each genre.
It was kind of a fun game. Kind of.
