Facebook is not the place to find people to participate in logical debates.

I swear, every time I click on chat there's someone having political dramas on FB. Is this a thing now?

People are terrible at choosing their friends.

Its more like, all the people I went to school with (and a LOT of my family) suddenly graduated and became insance right wingers (and....mainly just insane)

also i hate defriending people unless i do not actually know them

most of these people are people i see often enough that it would be weird if i defriended them

I've kept my FB friends list very small for this reason. It's limited strictly to people I don't see on a daily basis who aren't family. If I added family then I'd probably see more stupid comments from my mother. But I have a sum total of 37 people on my friends list. And I'm well aware I've pissed off a few of my former classmates by declining friend requests. But I didn't like them in High School, and I don't want to talk to them now.
It's weird though, Facebook doesn't offer anonymity and presumably the people you would interact with are people you know in real life . . . yet there's crazy all over.

Facebook is great for short posts rather then long bits of discourse. So people tend to speak in sound bites. Sound bites tend to be optimized for maximum emotional impact.

Because I've got the skin and the eyebrows. Also, 3 out of my 4 grandparents were born there.

Still a mudblood at the end of the day, aren't we

This would sting if the sicilian wasn't the part considered the mud.

I once saw a program on Rhode Island Public Access about a guy that every winter would leave his wife and kids and go to a cabin in the woods. No electricity, nothing, he had to get supplies flown in by plane that landed on the water. He had a self made fridge, the cabin was self made. He some how made a bed mattress that held up for years. All kinds of cool shit. Very little outside influence.

I wish I knew the name of the program.

Sorry, yeah, I meant that order does matter, as if we were talking about physical items (so A, B & C is the same as B, A & C).

    Example, a simple set of 4 items: 1, 2, 3 & 4.

    123
    124
    134
    143

    (so no 321, 423, etc.)

    4(3)(2) = 24, divide by 6 to get 4.

I hear it was short and pretty unsatisfying. Like the previews make it look awesome, and it just doesn't live up to it. Which is sad cause the movie really does look incredible. Nearly everything Clooney does is. As long as you remember he was NEVER Batman.
