Yeah but your name needs to have the same number of syllables that your BnB combo has hits.

Depends on what level you're at. CPU does not strategize, does not learn, does not adapt, and on the highest levels is still going to rely more on electronically instant reactions than taking you down like a player would. But if you're starting out, then it's decent enough practice.

Yeah, what you can do is shit like training your reactions, becoming better at pulling out combos while being attacked, finding out what moves are safe in certain scenarios and mechanical things like that

but never assume that the way you are being read or the way you read your CPU will apply to real players. The CPU doesn't understand that you are doing the same thing over and over for example, a human will

Also random ultras work on the CPU every time but like, never on real people who are half way decent.

And all the good humans are going to punish you for leaving yourself open or doing unsafe moves.

CPU also doesn't know how to avoid Akuma's ultra/super.

Playing Samurai Shodown Anthology, 1 has aged surprisingly well.

And unlike 6, the dialogue is short and to the point. 6's localization is horrible.

I can see why, the series just gets increasingly more convoluted.

At least Last Blade kept it simple(and somewhat realistic).

    VI has, what, 46 characters?

Not that it's a bad thing, but yikes. And you get like 20 seconds to pick from them.

dusted off steve and played tekken 6 last week, first time in ages.

fuck me did it show, got trounced hard the first few matches.

had a particularly bad loss to a extremely skilled Asuka player, it was really bad.

things got a little better when i got people more in my skill range, all in all i think i ended the night 3 and 5 or some shit.

the guys who leaked the rumor were the people that leaked everything about SSF4 accurately

    capcom haven't denied it.

seth talks about it in this interview rather positively

It's just that nothing's confirmed yet and we don't have anything to go off of yet aside from rumors and extrapolating from vague and noncommittal developer statements.

Video game announcements generally involve the developer standing up and saying, "Yes, we are making this." Not getting someone to leak it under cover of rumor. As long as it's the latter, they can always change their mind and/or back out at any time with full deniability.

Or some actual media being released, preferably.

Not that I really care about MvC. I'd rather see more SNK type VS games.

Well yeah, but nearly everything we know about SSF4 first came out in leak form.

Weren't there also a lot of vague hints about the release of MvC2 on psn/xbl too?

But that operates on the theory that if one leak by someone is true, then the next leak by them is also true. More realistically, if one leak by someone is true, then the next leak by them is somewhere between plausible and probable. At this point, I'm not saying that it's not happening, I'm just saying I'm not getting too excited over it until we're in the official site/press release/magazine screenshots level.

And besides, an MvC3 could end up in a radically different form than what we're used to with MvC2. Remember Star Control 3.
