Just Cause 2: This game is still awesome

That is totally what we've all been clamoring for.
This is not something I would spend money on.
Ahem. Just want to point out the date of that post. April 1st.

A lot of the info is real though. The Chaos Parachute comes with the game if you buy it at Target.
Driving a semi, you parachute away and you have a head-on with a motorcycle? BOOM!
Oh ya....
I love how the deadliest thing that Rico can do to a vehicle is jump out of it.

I am going to die so much due to self-inflicted explosions during this game.

Basically, don't worry about running out of upgrades. Spend, spend, spend!
Edit: And this, for those that love the hunt:

The way I ended up doing that sequence (My favorite method.) was to continually tether the cars to the sides of the road so they'd go flipping into other vehicles or maybe flip off the side if it's a bridge. As much as I love blowing shit up the Bolo patch made me realize that I really want to just rope shit together in creative and destructive ways.
I think its my favorite one yet.
It's impossible to get that limo down the hill without crashing it! And then the guy I'm escorting only gets out and follows me sometimes.
So many goddamn guys constantly shooting me uauhuahguhhughrhgh

Sounds like that limo could use a good airlift...
8-)
A). Can it be blown up?
B). Can it be flown up?
C). Can it be flown and then blown up?

When I play with my friends we all know exactly how to have fun:
1. Spawn a 6-star jet in an inappropriate location.
2. Take off (or try to).
3. If you take off successfully, fly as low as possible above the ground.
4. Jump out of your seat in shock as the jet suddenly explodes and makes an incredibly loud noise.

They don't deserve to play it then.
The damage model for cars is pretty extensive. I've crumpled my wheel into the car and had it constantly turn to one side, and the number of clanking, scraping and other "That can't be a good sign" sound effects are brilliant.
Yeah, the last few times I've played were spent driving/flying around, just checking out everything. It's great to be able to genuinely explore a game's world; San Andreas was the last one I played where I did things like that.
I think GTA IV spoilt me when it comes to vehicle damage models, though. I wasn't all that impressed with the damage in this game, since all I've managed to do is get the front kinda dented in and the textures scratched up.
As someone who's STILL trying to get the 30 sec low flying achievement... I can attest to how awesome it is everytime you plow into the ground and everyone in the room jumps.
Speaking of which... anyone got any good tips on getting that achievement? I've found that if your landing gear is out... it doesnt seem to count. So slowing down doesn't seem to help. Roads have light poles and such I keep running into. Water can be a challenge as it appears to only count if the water is shallow. I've been trying to do it in that $30k explosive entrance making rent a jet you get from the black market, is there maybe a better plane to do it with?
That and fly to the demo area (the desert in the lower left), since there's quite a large amount of wide open space. Slow flying + wide open space = success, maybe.
Definitely takes a while but if you follow the rivers and everything you find a bunch of gas stations, 1 off hidden resource items, etc. The scenery was damn nice too.
The what now?
the prop plane is perfect for that.
The demo just sort of plops you down in the middle of a desert and says "okay, go!".
Because you didn't save your game afterwards.
For people having trouble with the low-flyer achievement, you can do it very easily along rivers.
I made the name up, I just wanted to go on a cruise, so I took a boat from N. Panau all the way through S. Panau all the while picking up resource items and causing chaos.
