Skiff sprints to the far end of the basement, tapping the hatch with a bladed limb. "You will be saving lives in the sewer?" he asks, unsure, his face twisting into the closest approximation to a mutated frown. The other mutants would not likely appreciate his allowing of such an intrusion into their territory. "We should move."

Makali tries to sit up a little and winces with pain, slumping back down into the bed. He slowly reaches down and gingerly touches his side, pulling his carbosilicate fingers away quickly as the wound smarts and watches grimly as the UI on his arm analyses his blood levels.
"Bastard." Makali whispers weakly to himself, but then he can't help but faintly smile. But I suppose turn-about is fair play. I won though, it took a shit load of theatrics, miracles and fuck my body probably hates me. But these people are mine. He looks over at the woman and grins wryly.
"Well, that's new. Waking up with a gal I don't know in the room." The wounded man chuckles at this, but then sighs as his side protests. He looks over and sees a new set of clothes neatly folded in front of the couch, probably left there by some of the people to replace his bloody ones. It seems to be a pure white biker bodysuit and a white leather jacket.
"I suppose I should check in." He says, pushing his hand to his forehead. In the void where that takes him, he immediately announces, "Michael, I won. Took a while, got a bit banged up there, but these people are yours."

Brutality gives a better damage bonus than Mutant Strength (1/2 or full with Heavy Hitter, vs. Strength's 1/4 or 1/2 with Heavy Hitter).
a while back, and I'm not sure I understand. since the wording of Strength is
[Mutant Strength][%] Your mutations have made you inhumanly strong. You gain twice your Mutant Strength rating as a bonus to [P] for strength-related purposes, including calculating your Defending penalty. This is often, but not always, coupled with the Huge Od.
