edit:
well i put a nagel ring and a gull dagger on my poison necro.. that's the most mf i have on a character even more then my wannabe mf-er valcano druid.
anyway i decide to kill baal in normal and find a rattlecage, i wanted to put it on my throwbarb for the crushing blow and i remembered i had treachery on him already so that wasn't going to happen.. Then i started looking at my necro's armour.. and it was only 170 def..
I just put a rattlecage on my necro. This will work right? he's got poison dagger.. so he's kinda melee.. with about 4k damage on it poison wise.. but now he should be able to take down baal and mephy and shit in runs.. this makes sense right? it's not just a spell he's actually hitting them.. It's poison dagger not magic ray of poison that shoots through a dagger like a wand.
Crushing blow.. good.
oh and PPS: I want the giant skull i have 2 15% IAS jewels i want to put in it and the anticipation is killing me joker.. Please give it to me.. or sell it to me i got pgems and some low runes we'll work something out.
The ilvl of the crafted amulet will be the average of your character's clvl and the ilvl of the original amulet you used in the recipe. More specifically it's trunc(.5 * clvl) + trunc(.5 * ilvl) where trunc truncates any fractional portion. It doesn't round, so trunc(.5 * 85) is 42.
The alvl of the +2 skills prefixes is 90, so you ultimately need trunc(.5 * clvl) + trunc(.5 * ilvl) = 90 in order to get one of those prefixes. Let's see how that works in a few cases.
If you found the amulet in a level 85 area (ex. The Pits) from a random drop, then it's ilvl is 85. That means your clvl must be at least 96 to get a +2 skills result from the craft.
If you found the amulet in a level 85 area (ex. The Pits) but you know for sure that a unique boss dropped it, then it's ilvl is 87. That means your clvl must be at least 94 to get a +2 skills result from the craft.
If Hell mode Nihlathak dropped the amulet, then it's ilvl is 92. That means your clvl must be at least 88 to get a +2 skills result from the craft.
If Hell mode Baal dropped the amulet, then it's ilvl is 99. That means your clvl must be at least 82 to get a +2 skills result from the craft.
If you gambled the amulet , then it's ilvl is some random number between clvl - 5 and clvl + 4. That means your clvl must be at least 88 to have any chance at all of +2 skills result from the craft. Your clvl must be at least 93 to have the best chance of a +2 skills result from the craft.
So 93 really only matters if you want to gamble an ammy and then go from there. Otherwise you could wait for Baal to drop some crappy one, and work on that one at a lower level. Right?
In English: 93 is when any amulet crafted from any amulet you gamble has a chance to get +2 class skills. So you won't end up spending amethysts on an amulet that actually has a 0% chance of getting +2.
(in double-checking whether I got this right, I came across a little nugget of weird Diablo trivia: the game code allows for the Vita suffix to add +50 life. i.e.:
Vita
+36-50 life
Grand Charms(77)[36-40](91)[41-45](110)[46-50]
But it's impossible for ilvl 110 magic charms to exist; there are mlvl 110 bosses but the only such monsters drop Annihilus and Hellfire Torches and Standards of Heroes. So the code is there, but nothing drops it!

At least this guide I'm looking at.
I guess if you go bear you get shockwave to deal with them
I'm looking at an uber runner using Ribcracker and I don't see how it would handle any phys immunes in the way
e: Or not, no mention of Decrepify or Lower Resists.
The 20/7 is 20 life, 7 mana... :-( still sort of nice, but why couldn't it have been 20/17?
The Guillaume's you can have for whatever, other folks have helped me enough that I can pass it along.

Gris is he Uber viable?
Would a ribcracker Werebear fare better?
I have other stuff to do besides climbing the ladder one again, getting that ugly as shit tal rasha's set again, killing ubers and clone diablo again.
I did all this last summer. Now I'd have people to play with? Just not fair.
Ronya probably knows everything about it.
