I'm keeping my expectations set at 'hilariously bad' so I can be pleased with quality at either end of the spectrum.
I mean clearly I hope it'll be great and there seem to be some good names behind it, but some images I've seen have been amusing in the wrong way and it's not there haven't been some pretty awful Dr. Who spin off products.

Honestly, I wish the Beeb would just let me buy a license and give me access to all of their streaming + stuff like this. I would gladly pay. Instead I steal until it's on DVD, where I buy. I will absolutely pay for this in July.

Yeah. That is fishy.
They roll differently over there. My understanding is that they have an actual TV Tax, which is used to finance their state run television channels (the BBC).
Since they've already paid the tax, they can download BBC related software and stream BBC shows for free, whereas people from other countries have to pay to get access.
Which is why a lot of people (myself included) wish we could just give the UK some money and get the same deal.
Play if you're a fan, as the plot does at least have some old series continuity nods.
Matt Smith is pretty good at voiceovers, which lifts it considerably.
Ho hum. Still entertaining enough to a Who fan for free. Really, really not worth paying for.
