Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Hello again, [chat]. I see we are being less interesting at the moment?

Are you relatively new or have you been around for a while?

Well, I predate you by a couple of years.
    I don't post much, though.

    Fool.

No one is as old as I!

I just cleverly disguise my long historied membership to this forum.

It happens when they're bombarded with unwanted information about something they don't care about. I understand the hate.

I am less upset when guys come in here and talk about RDR and Borderlands all the time.

This is 100% the determining factor in whether I buy it or not.

There is basic multiplayer in the free version but like I said it's limited.

He's adding multiplayer to the beefed up developer version and that should be happening soon. I'm really excited. While I'm waiting for that I'm just going to concentrate on my own singleplayer world.

Hey [chat] let's have a DIDJA KNOW? Session.

Did you know that famous portrait artist Chuck Close is completely face blind! Face Blind? Yup. For reasons still being studied has brain like that of some others is completely unable to store facial features. If you were to speak to him at length for an hour he would only be able to recognize you by your voice or defining features such as a hat or weird glasses.

However on the other hand his brain is capable of analyzing a face in a photograph and recalling every single detail so well that he can extrapolate that data into the enormous portraits as seen below. Funny thing is. Up close it looks like just a bunch of blobs. . similar to how his recollection of an individuals face would be.

    chuck_close_1.jpg

Thank you DUE. This pertains to my interests.

because chuck close is an important contemporary artist and it's really interesting that he paints giant realistic portraits but he can't actually remember any faces :(

Yet that is exactly what i see here.

In the future he wants to add things like villages and other features. Right now the game is basically LEGO except in order to get the bricks you need to gather resources and process them with the workshop and furnace.

    Hey [chat].

So, hypothetical situation: Say you get invited to a soccer game, and say you go to kick a ball when someone else with cleats does the same, and he ends up kicking your foot in old tennis shoes. Let's say your big toe swells up a little bit, but you can still move it, it just hurts like a bitch to put weight on or move around much. But you can still move it!

    Theoretically, it's not broken, right?

Yeah, so basically when they add new maps and things to the game, xbox makes them charge for it, or valve just doesn't update the xbox version. I think they've stuck to just not updating, but I'm not sure because I buy all valve games on PC. Just makes way more sense (especially with crazyfuck sales).
