    I went ahead and posted it.

    I really try to avoid logs, because for the most part they'd be unnecessary. The draw of the coffee maker, 682, the vending machine, etc, is the community adding to the logs as a group. Here, I'm trying to make the article stand alone, and so a log wouldn't have much point.

    kosh: i've elaborated as far as is realistic, i think. i'm not sure how much else they would learn about the inner life of someone who is unresponsive.

    yeah, it's pretty similar to the human cocoon one but I would really rather not talk about that because the idea that someone stays alive through that is a thing that will keep me awake and swinging my fists at invisible bugs for the next week

    I think it's mainly the fact that it's a tool for cracking through the thin bone at the back to the eye socket, then swiping around inside a brain.

    Also the Operating Table/invisible nurses thing the creepiest ever
