Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

So. Mel Gibson didn't have a thread yet. Fixed.

The thread has devolved into madness the same way Mel Gibson has.

    Pretty fitting really.

See, CanMan, above where you said "the ideas?" That's where you actually said, "She's a manipulative cunt." That means you're a misogynist--that you were raised by misogynists and that nothing you ever do will be untainted by your hate and disdain for women.

That part where you called Mel Gibson a "(possibly violent) stark raving mad fucking lunatic?" I think that's where you show us that you're also a misandrist. Really, you hate all people. Your opinions, therefore, about anything involving people, should be dismissed out of hand. See?

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a contender for the Oscars this year. Is there a category for Most Dramatic Pretense of Persecution By An Internet Poster?

Leo just pulled out of Mel Gibson's next film, a period piece about Vikings. He doesn't want to risk his reputation by collaborating with Gibson. Poor Mel.

I don't think there's an appropriate context for telling someone they're going to be raped by black people.

We're smart people, I'm sure we could come up with one.

Its a crypitc analogy to the dark heart of men during time of strife and social collapse.

Even though DiCaprio has been rising up pretty well (I think) as an actor, him being in a viking movie is out of his league.

Also, I'm disappointed that Hollywood is letting Mel have a viking movie. Someone else should make one. Because vikings are great. And I'm not gonna support Mel by seeing his shit.

I can see it now, Mel's latest blockbuster about a band of brave Viking souls rising up against their brutal oppression at the hands of the savage Anglo-Saxon monks and sheep farmers of Northern England.

Gibson is probably just running through "historical peoples who can do really violent shit in a movie". Vikings are a natural for this.

This way, he can more quickly move onto the SS (but only the really Nordic divisions).

I know it's late in the thread and it may have been mentioned but I'm pretty sure A Boy and His Dog influenced the lone canine companion in the Fallout universe (as well as a shit-ton more.)
