Waiting til next summer so I can go to Alaska again. Where the mosquitoes are the size of birds, guns are everywhere, and everyone is an alcoholic.

    Good ol' great white north.

Yes! Then I remember there are awesome people and excellent times waiting for me and I'm less nervous and more excited

I think in my later years I'd really like to leave my life behind, move back to Nova Scotia and become a detective.

    This is my dream.

I moved from the east coast (grew up in NYC, lived in DC for 8 years post college) to the Bay Area about a year ago. Apart from the job situation (i.e., don't have one, can't find one, leeching off my fiancee) and a few minor quibbles, it's been fantastic. You guys moving out here, if you do have jobs lined up, enjoy it.

    I love the west

I used to spend summers with my grandparents in idaho and it was my favorite place ever, and then my family moved here in high school and i hated it because i was an angsty teenager, but now i love it again

I don't think I can live anywhere for a long period of time without mountains.

And to think, when I was a teenager, I thought my hometown was boring. Now I visit it every chance I get. The west is pretty sweet.

Oh I am sorry my liege! Some of us poor serfs don't have the brutes to carry our air mattresses throughout the wild.

Probably the same people who drive out to a campground in an RV that's bigger than my apartment, and sleep in a heated bedroom, in a queen-sized bed, and then have the gall to call what they're doing "camping."

this implies that you only have to carry your gear several feet by hand

not everyone goes to a campground to camp

A real camping trip involves going to see a parent who lives far away in the middle of the woods, having your plane crash in a lake, relying solely on a hatchet to see you through the trials and tribulations you face and then being rescued after bettering yourself as a person.
