Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Sweet Jesus, yes! It sucks not being able to afford driving/flying to PAX. Khoo would just spin out of trouble anyways, he'd be fine.
Also, hi Moniker.
I have no idea.
I was talking to an Australian guy once, said that he had been all over, and he said I was the first person whose accent he couldn't place.
I'm from Nebraska originally, but I grew up in Dallas and Miami. I don't really know what those places did to me as far as speech goes.
My other pair of jeans have gone missing
My mom won't buy me new jeans because I had a job this summer
I am going to end up walking around in slacks 24/7

holla
he hasn't worked there in like a decade, and his boss was tom daschle, so i think his contacts are pretty much dried up, unfortunately
the pay is terrible anyhow. like, you would make more waiting tables
and nothing else :winky:
Your novella; Mansion made from books.
Silly...
doing math in front of a computer is the way for me!
I remember when I first started working with linear algebra extensively and I didn't really know what was up. By accident, I fed MATLAB an underconstrained problem.
It spit back a message that my matrix was deficient. Oh, I said, I'll go fix that. Wait a second, what is it doing? How is it continuing?! And then a wizard came and hid in my computer and started typing to me.
Alright, here's your answer. It's not perfect but it's p good with the data I see. I kept it close to the null space so it should extrapolate. Tolerance 10^-12.
My mouth fell open and I spent a couple weeks reviewing advanced mathematics that no one had ever told me about.
Which is crazy, this is the first project I've ever done that for.

No Reef for Old Merfolk?
Was enough to convince me that I don't much like conventions.
I'm pretty sure the only reason I would go to a convention at this point is if I had a book or something to sell.
Pretty much what I figured. And I don't particularly care about pay as long as I get something.
@Judgment: huh?
moniker, I would so do that.
amaaazing
but the roddenberry estate won't give permission for me to publish it
like, in every math problem where you're not quite sure how to get to the result you want, the solution almost always involves eigenvectors
It is widely-accepted that PAX is an exception.
this was my general take-away from linear algebra
'hmm I am not quite sure what to do here, so I will take the eigenvector'
India has the best strippers.
i had kind of forgotten just how much stage-time iago gets
dude pretty much has 75% of the lines
Novella. Favela.
Nevermind, I used it wrong anyways...
I should exploit your financial situation for suggesting something so ridiculous.
Even when they name a play after a black guy, the white guy steals the show
