So we're less than two weeks away from the start of college football season! I couldn't believe we didn't have a thread yet so I decided to make it.
Storylines!
- Will Alabama repeat?
- Which Terrelle Pryor will show up for Ohio State?
- Coaches that still have jobs because their schools can't afford to fire them!
- Conference realignment!
The first games kick off Thursday, September 2nd! Rhode Island @ Buffalo is technically the first one, but Southern Miss @ South Carolina will be television on ESPN. (You can get a full run down of known TV games here - updated constantly throughout the season!)
So in the meantime, let's talk about what we're looking forward to, what teams we cheer for, and why we're getting hated on by the early season media projections. For instance, pre-season polls, pointless except for giving us something to argue about: http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings

I'm just hoping for a bowl game this year, I don't even care which one.
Other than that, Alabama should be a fun team to watch, I'll probably spend most of my non-PAC watching on the SEC.
Maybe this is the year we learn how to close games that we're winning in the fourth quarter.
