Trying to play Baldurs Gate II: ToB over Gamespy Arcade, but it keeps telling me my internal IP is different than my external? I have no idea how to sync them up, i can join games just fine, but it is impossible for me to host any, same goes for my GF's PC on the same network.
You probably need to forward your ports. Baldur's Gate 2 uses ports 2300-2400 and 6073. Gamespy Arcade uses ports 6667, 3783, 27900, 28900, 29900, 29901, 13139, 6515, and 6500.
Sounds like there is router setup problem. Your internal IP will be the adress your computer have on your home network and the external the IP adress your router connects to the internet with.
Your router is supposed to make your internal address invisible to the internet but from the description it sounds like something is not working right. Most likely the game communication is not being handled right and you need to open up some ports but this is just me guessing. You could try your ISP's hotline, the game hotline and maybe look for a manual describing how to setup your router.
Note. Before you start hosting anything on the internet the make sure you have firewalls on all equipment setup and so on. Otherwise things can go badly.

Already done this.
What am i trying to do is be able to host a game on Failspy (Gamespy.) and i've forwarded everything, still cant host. I can join people fine, but nobody can join my game.
If you are running Windows, you can find your internal IP address by Start>Run>command prompt
type: ipconfig /all
IPv4 Adress is your internal IP. It will probably be a 192.168.x.xxx IP. You need to make sure the ports on your router are getting forwarded to this IP.
additionally, make sure Windows Firewall isn't blocking them. Best to temporarily disable the service entirely.
Start>Run>Services.msc
Search down the list for "Windows firewall" right click it>Properties>set "startup type" to disabled.
also make sure if you are running windows that the ms firewall isn't blocking gamespy from coming in.
Well we originally were trying to do LAN, but it won't work, even using the external IP or Internal. Neither will allow a connection through. Also i unblocked Gamespy, still won't work. I will try turning off the firewall next time.
