My dad is an essentially impulsive man, while my mom is a hardline practical person. My dad convinced her that it would be cool to move to Arizona last year. Today I got the following e-mails out of the blue.
We are moving back to NH - but I'm
not sure when yet. I will keep you posted.
It won't be for a few months at the inside,
so you don't need to worry about your
visit being changed at all.
"amn't" = a contraction of "am" and "not."
Obnoxious self-consciously incorrect construction, or most obnoxious self-conscioulsy incorrect construction?
Conversely, how hard should you hit the person who uses it and/or what other punishment is most suiting?

I am considering going to a minimalism exhibit at the local art museum -- good idea, yay or nay?
Nay.
But I have a whole long rant on why most modern art sucks, and is in fact a concerted effort to destroy reality. But I don't have the energy to post that right now.
Unrelated note -- one of the worst thing about having a hairy ass is the crack-lint.
Aldo have you ever lived in an English native-language place, or is your speechifying all book-learned?
I've been on holiday to the US twice and to London for a few days... :?
I learned English in secondary school, videogames, movies, webforums and now in college. I suck at speech, though. Sort of combination of British and American pronunciation, hella annoying for anyone who pays attention to that sort of things (like me).
Oh, and spelling improved thanks to Firefox 2.0.x :P

It'll probably be fairly small, so you won't have wasted much time.

Decapitation.
With a saw.
This day just keeps getting better and better.
I considered turning it into a Hacksaw joke, but I figured I'd already made my alloted Hacksaw reference today.

I saw that. I was considering murdering you for it, but then I saw that post, and the urge to kill faded.

The Netherlands practically is English-speaking.
We learn how to talk to retards from backwards countries where they don't learn other languages than their own, yes.
Well, I could speak French or Spanish to you, maybe even a little Latin or Japanese, but I have a feeling the English would probably be easier all around. :P
Damn it Jeff, I actually wrote a post for that graphic novel thread.
Whatever. I'll dump it here.
I don't really know, but I wish they would make public policy books as graphic novels. A lot of abstract ideas could be summed up more succictly with a picture than a two page description. Henry Kissenger's books would be awesome as graphic novels.
Not to mention that someone like Thomas Freidman who insists on making every single fucking point with a story anyway could condense his books from 400 pages to 50.

God, no fucking kidding. I swear, the man gets paid by the anecdote.

Je parle une petite peux Francais, ne hablo Español... Latin would be fun ololodeadlanguage. I can't make sentences in Japanese, but I can say hi/bye yes/no etc.
Ich spreche ein bietchen Deutsch, es ist gleich Niederlandisch. I can only say "yes" in Polish, because that's the only Polish they've ever said to me. I know some Czech, it's on the same level as Japanese.

Hmm, I think I'll go and fetch me a Donair. Laters.

Three hours later.
Ah man. I love my family.
It's about to hit the triple digits, at least in Phoenix and Tucson.
Damn, nearly 30 mins between posts, and it's not even the wee morning hours, or nothin'.
We suck.

But yeah, English is much better.
