my date looks at me and smiles.
"so." she says "you like owls?"
She just starts talking about how much she loves owls
all owls and every owl and all the owl facts she knows, which is a whole lot of owl facts
feeding breeding flying types of feathers sizes lifesspan myths about them EVERYTHING
"...wow, I uh didnt know all that."
She frowns. "You should learn about them then. why the fuck wouldn't you."
THen her friend and my friend come back and she starts talking about tv and politics and stuff
I didn't ever talk to her again.
To this day i dont know whether she was tryin to put me off or whether she really did have owls as her one mad passion
what I mean is girls don't want anything to do with a temp who is below the poverty level
women solely date based on the male's ability to provide long-term care for her and an indeterminate number of screeching crotch devils
well, yeah. a lot of them expect marriage to be their job security. there's a pretty ridiculous graph on oktrends about income and it will depress you.
