    Syrup science is deliciously heretical.

And I am thankful that Sun Chips dumped the eardrum splitter bag.

yes you can fry bacon in syrup, it's basically caramelizing it
in fact, it's not basically caramelizing it, it IS caramelizing it.

also mayonnaise cake might just be east coast?

beav I want to hear much more about your road trip.

Also Zonugal I want to see the east coast very badly. West coast is cool but it's too damned expensive out here and growing way too quickly.

Did you just say you want to go to the East coast because it's too expensive on the West coast?

Crazy talk I say. Unless you're talking about like south east coast where money has yet to be invented.

I don't know about the financial elements but all I can say is my first memory, as a human being, is the rolling hills of fog in the winter mornings of New Brunswick.

It is a beauty I can not capture in words.

I want to check it out because coasts are the place to be. I only survived Ontario because of the Great Lakes. I'm in Vancouver so everything aside from Toronto is cheap in comparison (for a home, I mean).

Fog is awesome, I think that's why I'd like it so much there. There isn't much fog in the city here, but I drive out to near White Rock every day and it's right by the ocean and very flat so the fog starts to rise with the sun.

Thanksgiving for me means going to see my family in the country, lots of food and fishing.

Today my dad, my four year old niece and I took the boat to a local lake. I brought my camera and got some nice footage of the whole thing. A bunch of bass, countless perch and sunfish, and a 35" pike.

Thanksgiving is probably my favourite holiday.

Beavo you are in Cali now? Neat! Ooh, I've got things to tell you:

Eat at Carl's Junior, specifically a barbeque or southwest chicken burger

Go to the walk of fame while Hollywood still seems glamorous. Soon enough you will realize it is historically and culturally significant, but not beautiful. It is really quite plain.

It isn't right in the LA area but Candlelight Lane is a charming Christmastime excursion, even if it has lost some of its literal glimmer and sparkle through the years.

Start eating Mexican food. It is everywhere and it is delicious.

J Paul Getty Museum. DO IT.

Have you eaten at Carl's Jr. yet Beavo?

Also; SoCalis in general act weird around rain. More than a sprinkle and the number of crashes spikes and we call it a hurricane. If people were dancing (I've seen that before) it must have been a light rainfall.

It's always amusing seeing other places deal with snow. Like the southern united states gets three inches and roads just stop functioning. they don't work anymore. don't use your car or you will die.

Here we get six inches and the guy on the radio is like "well, leave a bit early today"

Most aren't used to driving in slippery conditions, and most people don't ever buy antifreeze if it ever gets that cold.
