There is a very simple thing that I want to do that I can't figure out.
I want to use actionscript to create an instance of a MovieClip in my library.

/shrug. I can understand that. Not every genre of game is going to appeal for everyone. I can't stand sports, fighting, or racing games but whatever floats your boat.

On the plus side the balance is so much better than it used to be and raid content is way more fun.
Every class is viable and hybrids have all their rolls viable. The only specs that don't see use are the 3rd trees of pure dps specs and thats not even universal to all classes.

Don't think you realize how long I played mmos. I started with EQ, 4 to 5 years I am bad with the time on DAoC and WoW till this January from release and did pretty much all end game content up to that point. In reality WoW killed my joy of MMOs.

you need to go to the properties of the MovieClip in the library and make sure it has Export on which will give it a name. You use that to create it though the exact syntax varies depending on the version. You using AS3?
Fucked if I know. Adobe made AS unusable for designers like myself. It used to be 2 lines to create a button to a url, now its 10.
