Whoever/Rangers, I don't really care at this point.

if it's not going to be the yankees I will be cheering for the giants. I won't be all that disappointed, these are the four teams I would have picked out of the 8 entering the playoffs (well maybe the twins but since they drew the yankees I couldn't pick them so to speak but I would like to see them do well) and I like what the Rangers doing well says for the future of pitching and how managers treat it.
The Phillies have lost twice, but only been shutout once. Doesn't really matter because a loss is a loss, but if you're going to put it into the first post you should get it correct.
Tex hasn't provided any offense for the Yanks this series, but boy, losing him like that is incredibly demoralizing. I had a buddy at the stadium last night, and he said the crowd was deathly silent afterwards, almost creepy.
I am rooting for the Giants if they get into the series. Be nice to show that the NL West was as tough as it seemed watching the Rocks and such. Still sad the Padres just crashed at the end, they looked so good till then. Don't get me on the Rockies though, so much potential unrealized. At least Cargo got his batting title.
Though I am just happy to see the Rangers beat out NY. Yankees have enough series under their belt and the Rangers don't well have any. Actually never been to the series.

if anyone doesn't follow bill simmons' twitter, his ongoing super-reverse jinx of the yankees is highly, highly entertaining

I know it's crazy, but I think AJ Burnett is gonna come up big tonight. He's one of those guys who throws a 4-hitter when u least expect it.
AJ Burnett, meet Destiny and Don Larsen. They're ready to have a threesome with you. 24 outs to go.
Just feels like the Yanks have restored order here. I hope you enjoyed Cliff Lee's last start of the postseason last night.
God Bless America, 3-run Yanks rally, Enter the Sandman, Rivera turns off the lights. I've seen this movie too many times.
These are all the same thoughts I had last night right up until Hamilton hit his second home run. At that point, up 7-3, the tide had turned and there would be no Yankee rally. Granted, they almost did it but it was shut down.
Man I am so hyped for game 5 right now! One of the local stations was interviewing people that waited out side the ball park in arlington for world serries tickets after game 2. They asked "How long were you waiting for world serries tickets?" "About 18 years."
Wilson needs to work on his controll with out those two walks that would have been a whole diffrent inning. Also Benji would have been blocking the plate and would have made the out.

yeah and I think they may have worked another walk in the first between cano and swish but I understand the yanks being jumpy.
3 run lead, and they didn't give it away right away hoooaaaaha
I still find it hilarious how light-hitting catchers seem to catch fire and turn into home run monsters against the Yankees. Napoli from last year, then Molina and Treanor this year.

Ruiz scorched the Rays in the World Series, along with Molina this year.
Posts
That would be to my liking.
edit: Wait. Texeira. Not Texas. That sentence makes sense now.

As a Phillies' fan, I found the wild card round much more entertaining than this one. :?
assuming things keep going this way. which I don't want to do but I have to say I feel comfortable.
here we go
or phillies
I actually feel pulled in both directions so my gut tells me go with the underdog

Just throwin' this out there, but Ron Washington shat over the game far more by leaving him in.

and yeah, all napoli really DOES is hit homers. molina has never been a bad hitting catcher either, usually .280 with 15-20 homers
