Just came back from a meeting with my boss, and I did good enough this fiscal year to get a nice, hefty bonus that should be in my bank account the end of this week! Wooo, planning on spending it on a big big screen tv, a nice little vacation, and bidding on some kickass items in the saint auction. Feelin like a rockstar!

    I've got a kick ass job, and will be probably moving up super-quick in it soon-ish, if for no other reason than I have the ambition to.

    The only thing I have to complain about is that in about 9 days, I leave all my super-close friends and go to a different ship, where I get to meet new and I'm sure awesome people, only to leave them after 3 months and go to a different ship where I meet new and awesome people.

    we closed on our house refinancing last week

    and the way things fell, we ended up not having to make a house payment next month!

    Piano/Keyboard/Synth player on Cruise ships. I'm gunning, probably after my next contract, or maybe one after that, to move up to Band leader(where I'll also still be playing), and I've actually this contract gotten to fill in as band leader twice and will another two times tonight for shows, and done pretty well at it.

    Basically, I work maybe max 4-5 hours a day(minimum 1.5 hours. And in two months here due to a crazy series of events, I even got one day totally off), all of it being time where I'm actually playing the instrument, not paying for food or housing, going to awesome places in, currently, the Caribbean, and getting ridiculously cheap drinks.

    And while I'm just going from contract to contract, all I have to do to get a new one is send an email to my agent saying "Hey, I want another contract, give me two weeks off between them though" and I'm good.


    Oh, also I'm starting to get pretty damn in shape, because there's a gym upstairs that I can use and hell... I've got time, so I might as well work out.
