    Jerry linked the Wiki for Taipans in the newspost

    reminded me of the story about a friend of mine being bitten by a Coastal Taipan
    the third most venomous land snake in the world and arguably the largest venomous snake in Australia... often considered to be one of the deadliest species in the world.
    What's more is he was out in the woods and by himself with no phone and had to make a tourniquet out of his belt and stumble a mile or so back to his house to get a ride to the hospital

    about 10 minutes away from death before they gave him the anti-venom, they said.

    Sonic flying shirt is a good one.

    Immovable invincible ____ is a good way to keep stuff from fucking up. I get through levels faster by keeping everything else from moving

    i want to know how scribblenauts translates across different countries.

    like, are australian players instantly much better at this game because they have so many deadly animals to choose from. or do british players automatically lose at the start menu because they're soggy to begin with.

    For me it was just that from the D&D podcasts, I'd seen a lot of Jim - loved him, but he wasn't brand new like Lookouts and Automata. Plus part of the charm of Jim (to me) is how quickly Gabe comes up with his hilarious mannerisms.

    That might have something to do with it; I pay close attention to the comics and all but ignore the podcasts unless they're in PATV form.
