Went independent fairly late in the game, decided to backstab Mr. House when he ordered me to take out the BoS. I was hanging with Veronica at the time so that didn't sit right with me
So went with Yes Man and ignored the BoS. Befriended the Boomers (and then some) even though at first I was tempted to slaughter the lot of them for trying to blow me up "just 'cos", and I left most of the families be although I wiped out the Omerta due to buggy missions and the fact they're bastards
Slideshow was pretty cool as far as I was concerned, and I thought using other voice actors for the summaries of the respective characters was clever. Apparently everyone is doing great except for the Followers at the Old Mormon Fort, so maybe they should've tried harder- according to their summary life in NV was harder than before, which goes against the other slides soooo don't know what happened there
Veronica's slide was all kinds of melancholy and ED-E's was all kinds of awww
And what was the deal with Yes Man finding a new personality? Sounds like DLC fodder to me
Anyyyyyyyyway time to start a new character (or load a much earlier save) and check out the content I missed or bugged out on
Just killed Deathclaw mommy and daddy. Man, the sniper rifle really chews 'em up. And now I have a light machine gun, ho ho ho. Time to go rambo on someone.
this is actually one of the only issues I've encountered
it's just too fast in the menus, like, it accelerates too quickly, and turning down the sensitivity makes it slower on the whole but doesn't seem to alter the acceleration
I've gotten used to it, mostly, but it's still sluggish in-game and hard to use in the menus

also I broke down a bunch of bullets to make some 5.56mm ammo and was all set to go and then it was like, congrats, you made one (1) bullet
thx game, using it to shoot myself
Heheheh, yeah you have to have "cases" for the bullets you want to make.
I broke down a bunch of scrap metal to make lead, then broke down all my 9mm since I wanted to switch to 10mm machine gun instead... whoops no cases... So now I have like 9999 "lead"s (which thankfully don't weigh anything...) and a shitbutt load of pistol powder..

I'll play the new fallout games when they aren't riddled with game breaking bugs, and when their sequels aren't longer expansion packs.

Maybe not. The guy has like 7 posts and has already tried trolling in the X Files thread and some sports thread.
nma is a bunch of mentally-challenged people who were born with no sense of taste, or smell probably, who are sort of idiot savants for writing scathing rants against Fallout 3 on the interwebbotrons, because you see it's not a "real" Fallout game.

There is a fix for this, it's in the link posted in the OP. Go to the link and look for the solution for "mouse acceleration" or whatever. You just have to copy/paste a few lines into the .ini file and you're all set.
I did it and it worked like a charm.
e: And I was beated by a miiiiile. That's what I get for alt-tabbing and not refreshing the page for like 10 minutes.

yeah, it was definitely one ingredient that was my bottleneck, I had plenty of cases, it might have been small rifle powder (?), but either way, now I have 5000 lead and hardly any ammo
I just took scrounger, hopefully things will start looking up on that front
Man I dunno what it is but the more I play this game the more it just pisses me off to be playing the game.
Invisible walls.
There are invisible walls EVERYWHERE in the southern part of the map. I can't tell if they put them there so you can't skip Nipton or what but I'm getting really pissed trying to navigate around the area and hitting invisible walls at the top of a hill I can easily climb.
Also in the REPCONN HQ whats the deal with the hidden door? I found two of them and when I hover over them I get the option to "Open Hidden Door" - when I try to "open" the door it only gives me the option to jam it shut?

I gave up trying to play on a mouse/keyboard. I plugged in my 360 controller after the first hour or so.
I really wanted to use the mouse because I like playing shooters better that way, but navigating the menus is just SO much easier with the controller.

You fooool!
That gun is one of the most powerful weapons in the game!

The one with the big glowing Poseidon Energy logo? Oh, yes!
cool thanks for your insight man i'll stop enjoying this game right away!!
You are not a true Fallout fan anyway. Real fans have obsessive escapist fantasies about turn-based hex grid nuclear raider boyfriends.
thx game, using it to shoot myself

You might also try adding it to the fallout_default.ini file in the steam directory.

Good thing I wasn't married to that idea.
