Everything's fucking bugged. I get that it's a big game and all, but things like making sure the companion quest triggers all function should be at the top of the fucking QA list. You know what a decent QA team should also have done? Spawned every gun in the game to make sure they all worked with that fucking perk.

3:10 to Yuma has me wanting to use the .357 all the time now
suppose it could also be the trait trigger discipline?

I've not played much yet but I haven't run into any glitches. Is the PC version worse or the same when compared to 360?

I beat this game today.
I am now starting over with a girl who I am going to make an idjit with punches. Though I'm tempted to make a horribly anti-charismatic scientist who happens to know KUNG-FU.

man, the response time on those assassin teams is ridiculous
I had barely finished reloading after shooting dead a Legion patrol and bam there they are
luckily I outwitted them by putting on a legion uniform before they talked to me
This happened to me. The assassin got up to me and told me to prepare myself for battle, and then just stood there.
So I reloaded.
He kept standing there.
I switched out to another gun.
He kept standing there.
I checked my HP and hit a stimpack.
He kept standing there.
I cleared my throat.
He kept standing there.
I looked at the other assassin.
He kept standing there, too.
I slowly backed away.

I want to play an evil, charismatic fist-fighter but I don't think I would want to actually go below 5 for intelligence, skill points are just too useful.

Yeah. Basically 1 point in intelligence is worth 15 points over the course of 1-30 leveling. And I guess the 2 points to medicine/repair/science. Makes educated a very nice perk to take, worth almost 2 points of intelligence.

Skip all the talky talk nicey things. No barter/speech/medicine/repair and you'll have tons of skill points for stuff like fightin' and breaking into things.
I think my next character will be something like Billy from Six String Samurai. I'll just have to murder anyone in a position of power who I think might be out to be the king of New Vegas. Just me and Yes Man going straight to the top.
I need to find a gatling laser or gauss cannon. I have 100 energy weapons, but my best gun is still just a unique plasma rifle, which is definitely nice.
Also I wish I could make armor piercing energy ammo. Fucking Deathclaws and their 20(!) DT.

So I make peace between the Brotherhood of Steel and NCR. When I finish the quest that way it says I now have Infamy with NCR. I figure that means my fame went down a little cause they wanted me to kill the Brotherhood... nope. When I go downstairs they all start shooting at me.
Fuckers.
edit: Oh wait, it's cause I was wearing BoS power armor. STILL I just made a truce between them!

I plan on dropping her after I do her companion quest. I triggered a few of her talks and walked into Cottonwood with only doing 6 or 7 quests and her quest triggered.
I will be dropping her for Arcade after that's done. I want his buddies on my side when shit goes down.
yeah, I don't really use him much specifically because he just carries me through everything
also, I'm definitely going to get bloody mess on my unarmed playthrough. I can't wait to punch someone in the gut so hard that their limbs simultaneously explode

Really? Not bad! I might make a lower intelligence character.

I'll probably still cheat when I do my new character by looking at the wiki to find skill books

Six-String Samurai is one of my favorite movies and I'm so glad they tossed in a few references to it.
There's those giant trash swords some Nightkin have. That's all I have seen.
Bumper swords and Gladius' are about as close as you're going to get.
screw it
new character time
Wait, how am I getting 16?
Educated?
also apparently Veronica doesn't level up with the player character. Kinda shitty for a melee companion to be stuck at 215 HP
It's a random bug. Sometimes she does.
I will be dropping her for Arcade after that's done. I want his buddies on my side when shit goes down.
I'm playing on hard, and even without leveling up, she's wrecking dudes.
(I haven't even visited New Vegas yet, been busy exploring the wastes)

The Old Mormon Fort near the north entrance into freeside.
Although having him with with me when I armed Archimedes made me feel like a Bond villain but without the inevitable defeat.
