Finding out that there are nine pages of modded tractors for Farming Simulator 2011 is one of the funniest things I've seen all day.
I can't help but feel it's awesome that there are people out there who want a combine harvester sim and are actually interested in modding in their own favourite models. It's just so ridiculously geeky, even for a community of hardcore geeks.
It gets better, insofar as I went to look up that 10-wheel tractor ("John Deere 8530-Ls 2011"), forgot to take off the "Ls 2011" (Landwirtschafts Simulator), and the first page of results shows no less than 4 Farming Simulator mod repositories, none of which seem to be mirrors of each other, and all of which have updated within the last day.

Crazy.
I first read this as, "...no less than 4 Farming Simulator mud repositories,..." And now that it's not that the world seems to have a little less joy.

As a fan of the Wiiware version, I can say Bit.Trip Beat is really good. It also gets pretty difficult, and it certainly doesn't help that if you lose, you have to start the entire level over. There are three levels, and each one takes a good chunk of time..roughly 10-15 minutes? I've never beaten level 3.
Not sure how well it controls on the PC. The Wii version had you hold the remote sideways and rotate it forward/backward as if it were a paddle controller. It might be easier on the PC.
If you haven't already, watch some youtube videos on it. I'm glad they're expanding beyond Wiiware; I'm a big fan of the Bit.Trip games. There are 5 of them, with one more on the way.
I thought this was actually a continuation of Escape from City 17, but I can't find anything saying they're linked. As far as I'm aware these are two separate projects.
And as a counterpoint to that awesomeness, I present to you the trailer for Alternativa, a recently released adventure game on Steam that also happens to feature a dystopian future with masked oppressors and stun rods.

Being punished by the Steam gods. Went ahead and bought BIT.TRIP.BEAT ("$9? OK."), only to now discover that this game, which is composed mostly of 8-bit graphics, is too good for my video card. Oh well.

I've seen a lot of 3D stuff going on in the background.
To the guy asking if its mouse controlled paddle, yes it is.
The game is also painfully hard after the first level.

If you try to combine the pun trains, I'll kick you in the caboose.
With all these bad puns cropping up, I really think you guys are trying to engineer the demise of this thread.

Looks like the quote tree forked.
Yeah, that's bound to crop up here sooner or later.

That's what I'm saying though. Is "make a huge quote tree of puns" going to be a recurring thing now? Are we really going to run it into the ground?
Resident 8bitdo expert.
Resident hybrid/flap cover expert.
He's just a little steamed up is all.
Now I can tell you're on board!

As long as they're pun trees, can't we (as a thread) get a pass?
Indeed.
Maybe you should train us not to let them grow so large.

10 points if you make it to the end. Seriously.
First, I was all like.. I can suffer a minute and a half for 10 internet points!
Then I was like
Okay, Fetus.
Thats not so weird.
Then I heard the voice acting
and blood came out of my ears and I may have accidentally moved my bowels.
Just from the horrible badness.
Are we talking Alpha Prime levels of badness, or just the typical horrible badness?
EDIT:
Oh god, I watched it. My poor ears!

Definitely beyond Alpha Prime.

Also, none of those actually mention gameplay.
...I shouldn't spend the dollars, but...I really want to.
So horribly true
You could say they've seperated the chaff from the grain.
What video card do you have? Thats bizarre

Really fun game though.
