I remember parking on the UC Berkeley campus for the LARP I was in many years ago. Convenient parking (even paid parking) was unavailable, and only students could get a parking pass. But the parking tickets were only $10 and the parking patrols at night were laughable, I considered the occasional $10 parking ticket to be my parking fee, which I always paid promptly.
