You build a door that you can attack through and just stand there whacking creepers and picking up gunpowder. Creepers only really suck when they get the drop on you because that 1.5 seconds is only long enough to realize you're going to be blown up.

Huh, I wonder if it would be possible to play catch with ghast fireballs once the mob bug stuff gets fixed. And we can actually get to the nether on multiplayer.

The internet is always a crapshoot, to be fair. I was just totally taken aback by that being my first experience with it.
A development company liked a pitch that myself and a friend of mine gave them yesterday. They want to see some written sample of work next Wednesday. By no means is this a done deal, a big deal, nor does it mean much of anything, but it's super encouraging to hear a company interested in your work.

I know, right? Frosteey's apparently pretty good at video games, I'm surprised!
Man, you must not play many games online Hakkes cause that kinda crap aint even that surprising.
I mean you can always tell a black person kill from a white person kill in an FPS. There are racial determiners. You'll never see a black person bunny hopping or rocket jumping. That's all white dudes. Black people stand there laughing, shooting you in the face, or knifing you in an alley when you're not looking. The white dudes on the server are the ones hopping around trying to get power ups and shit. And don't even get me started in the Bangladeshi.
took me around 8 hours but that was on the easiest difficulty- with points where strategy and care weren't necessary and i could hulk smash everything on recruit. on normal, hardened, or veteran i could easily see it being >a dozen hours
lots of novelty missions to replay, too- piloting various vehicles, high-emotion plot points, etc
overall it's probably my favorite FPS campaign in the last few years
