    When two trolls are locked in a feud or some otherwise contentious relationship, one can intervene and become their AUSPISTICE. The auspistice mediates between the two, playing the role of a peace keeper, preventing the feud from boiling over into a fully caliginous rivalry.

    Actually I think CCG, FCG, and Jade are each taking turns at auspstice with each other. Jade is ausptice from keeping CCG and FCG from becoming full on kismesis. FCG is also keeping CCG and Jade from becoming kismesis. And CCG is keeping FCG and Jade from being matesprits.

    You are clearly taking troll romance too lightly. Jade only just met FCG and barely even knows CCG. Them jumping straight into an ausptice/kismesis relationship would be rather premature! Troll relationships don't just happen, they need time and nurture.

    i think you actually came down on enslaved a little too hard, mostly thanks to the people who liked it

    ninja theory is bad, and their fans are bad, but the game itself is middling at worst by all accounts

    but, spending too long in a G&T thread can have deleterious effects on the strongest constitution

    a half-hour with morninglord alone can drive hard-eyed men utterly mad

    I think my thing with Enslaved and all of NT's games is that 1) they're completely unoriginal in virtually every aspect and 2) people lap up the mediocrity as if it's fine wine

    Like, if people were like "oh this game is mediocre, it's got problems but some good points" I'd be 'whatever' about it

    But people play like Heavenly Sword or some shit and honestly respond "HOLY SHIT BEST STORYLINE TO A GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED DEEPEST STORYLINE AND CHARACTERS EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

    It's the fucking dissonance that makes me want to start knocking some sense into those people

    Oh also people use HS' (and now Enslaved's) honestly middling story as defense against its shittier parts. No. NT does not write that good of stories to excuse their shitty gameplay. Cavia does, and just barely, and Cavia is probably one of the best storytelling game companies in the biz right now

    Also that dude in the GnT thread who called Enslaved the "sci fi GOTY" What? WHAT?
