Are you an inquisitive, yet bored teenager?

Does hanging out with a speech-impaired dog sound like a good time to you?

Your glasses! Can you not see without your glasses?

If so, you might want to join... Mystery Incorporated!

It all began with this:
Scooby-gang-1969.jpg

then became this, which was awesome:

The_13_Ghosts_of_Scooby-Doo.jpg

There was some stuff with Scrappy Doo, two subpar live-action movies and now...

Scooby's back.

That's right! Meddling kids are in style again, so we've got a new series!

Scooby_doo_mystery_incorporated_poster.jpg

It features the gang exploring mysteries in their hometown of Crystal Cove (The Most Haunted Place on Earth!)

Packed with references to old Scooby Doo, and tons of self-mockery, this is the best Scooby in ages.

Scooby and Shaggy are still hungry, Velma's still nearsighted, and Fred is more obsessed with traps than ever before.

Check it out on Cartoon Network, Mondays at 7.

Be there, or be that guy who gets sent to jail for running around with a cheap mask on.

There is a lot of Scooby Doo hate in these forums, but I love it oh so much.

13 Ghosts was the best series, but Pup Named Scooby Doo came pretty close just for the level of self-mockery.

vemla is a slut for shaggy yet he dumps her for scooby.
    true story

also i like the premise of all this Mr. E stuff, but I don't like how it's being done. Everything's just being handed to them.

And pup named scooby doo is the best scooby doo series.

13 Ghosts was the best, followed by the original, followed by pup, followed by the newer one before the current one. Haven't seen the current one, but hearing good things.

Is there anything bad about the cartoon Scooby Doo? NOPE.

I watched a bit of Scooby Doo as a kid.

But then my sister had a kid.

And every time I saw her which was fairly often it was Scooby Doo non stop. For hours at a time it'd be on.

I thought Thirteen Ghosts was really fun, since they were dealing with actual ghosts for a change.

Also, Vincent Price basically played himself.

I don't understand how the original Scooby-Doo episodes were culturally significant enough to spawn the multitude of spin-offs and reimaginings.

I mean, every episode was quite literally the same god damned thing.

Also, as tripe as the original show is today, it was still better than most of the garbage Hannah Barbara churned out in those days.

Seems like they went through dozens of cartoon ideas, and Scooby Doo was one of the few that had much lasting value with the audiences, I imagine.

Well, most of the stuff that Hanna Barbara was churning out were just copies the Scooby Doo formula in various different incarnations to try to capitalize on the success.

    Josie and the Pussycats
    Speed Buggy
    Captain Caveman

It even had, at least in one episode, the Scooby doo theme with chinese instruments.
