    take that finals

    I'm jealous of yo A's.

Pretty sure I'm going to walk away from Comparative Religious Ethics with a B+, even though I got A's on all my final drafts. Stupid first drafts...

that sounds like a fun class

my A's were in operations management and advanced corporate taxation

which were less fun. although i got to have some fun on the essays on my tax exam.

    From the Wikileaks thread

And while everybody is looking at Assange, what has happened to the actual leak, Bradley Manning.

He's locked up. Alone. For seven months now.
From the beginning of his detention, Manning has been held in intensive solitary confinement. For 23 out of 24 hours every day -- for seven straight months and counting -- he sits completely alone in his cell. Even inside his cell, his activities are heavily restricted; he's barred even from exercising and is under constant surveillance to enforce those restrictions. For reasons that appear completely punitive, he's being denied many of the most basic attributes of civilized imprisonment, including even a pillow or sheets for his bed (he is not and never has been on suicide watch).
In sum, Manning has been subjected for many months without pause to inhumane, personality-erasing, soul-destroying, insanity-inducing conditions of isolation similar to those perfected at America's Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado: all without so much as having been convicted of anything. And as is true of many prisoners subjected to warped treatment of this sort, the brig's medical personnel now administer regular doses of anti-depressants to Manning to prevent his brain from snapping from the effects of this isolation.

Torture is still acceptable in the US it seems.

Okay, now I have my regular winter break again.

    For those following at home:
First, we didn't get Xmas eve even when we were supposed to.
Then, we got Xmas eve back but had to take vacation or unpaid on the 30th.
Now we have what we were originally supposed to get.

This kinda makes me wish PA had the :psyduck: emote.

I have become truly casual. My guild's raid nights are Tuesday and Thursday. Not raiding right now because people are leveling and gearing up in heroics. But other than that, I play as I can. I'm lvl 84. I had guildies that were 83 on day 1. I'll be 85 by the weekend probably. If not during the weekend.
