I don't like the looks of this. (I can transcribe if anyone wants)
I'd say I set myself up for this.
I feel somewhat shown up by this.
Did you ever take Bomberman:Act Zero out for some skeet shooting?
No way, man. I still need those multiplayer achievements.
Anyway, the demo for Blue Dragon didn't blow me away, but it didn't offend three of my five senses like Vampire Rain did. Either way, I'll check it out this weekend. In the meantime,
Santee, your present is shipped. It is supposed to be there before Xmas. I would bank on Thursday or Friday (if they deliver on Friday) next week. If not, just know that IT IS COMING!
Santee, you should have received your gifts by now but I don't see picturrreessss. :?
I should have them up in a few hours!

Wait, uh...
Wow, did this package take an epic trip.
All the way from down under, mate.
I suppose the damage can be expected, what with those [strike]kangaroos[/strike] customs agents going to town on their packages.
Included was a kind note to said agents informing them of the contents.
Obviously, they didn't believe it.
A note warning me of the forthcoming contents:
I know I'm a tough one to stalk. But hey, I love surprises.
A comic I've honestly never heard of. I'll give anything a chance though. Reading material is good.
Looks humorous.
A nerf gun! I haven't had one of these in, uh, a long time. My roommate's kid loves it to death.
(If the sounds of gunfire and screaming in the background is any indication)
Foreign chocolate(and a Koopa)! Looks great. I'll take the milk advice. :P
(The letter advises me to look up a wiki on the foodstuffs. Something about a 'Tim Tam Slam'...)
And then. Things got real.
Planescape mothaeffin Torment. Good thing I didn't cave in to that GOG sale, eh? :P
The game's reputation precedes itself, I know I'm in for a treat.
(Also, a Zelda manga!)
How do you top something that epic?
With a biblical tome.
Sure you didn't mix me up with Rent? :P I've never played Valkyria Chronicles, but now I know I have to. This thing is massive. Like 400+ pages. It looks gorgeous, too.
The full haul, with required cat intervention:
yes that is an artemis plush, sue me
Thanks a million, Hearthjaw!
(I believe a boxed copy of Planescape: Torment is worth roughly that amount.)
I don't think you have to worry anymore. I checked the mail after getting home from the gym and saw a slip telling me I need to pick something up from the post office tomorrow. I can't think of anything else I would have ordered that wouldn't be able to fit in the mailbox.
I don't have any adorable animals so just imagine a koala opened this
came with a note:
Inside this box, also online
A set of presents you will find
to brighten up the end of the year
and fill your soul with Santa Cheer:
writing tools with dual purpose
make music on any surface
a shield of mints in tiny doses
defends your breath from halitosis
a t-shirt shows who is in charge
i hope it fits (it's extra large!)
a card that's good where higley goes
should you choose to eat at Joe's
and plus, a gift you got online
talking through movies is just fine
so i hope you like your gifts
because nothing rhymes with The Scruple
So that's a Joe's gift card, a tin of Zelda mints, some drum stick pencils, a B.P.R.D. shirt and also 25$ for rifftrax.
Thanks!
That's me
And those are the pencil sticks vs. real sticks.
Sorry I didn't post earlier, The Scruple, but I am a napping man and didn't wake up until recently.
Love the gifts so much!
As for my santee, I'm going to ship my gifts tomorrow. Get ready.

Glad you liked everything! When I saw that Joe's was really close by you, I just had to get you a gift card. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots when we're in the area (Grandma & Parents have a winter home in Chandler).
Did you happen to notice what the box was stuffed with?
I don't think you have to worry anymore. I checked the mail after getting home from the gym and saw a slip telling me I need to pick something up from the post office tomorrow. I can't think of anything else I would have ordered that wouldn't be able to fit in the mailbox.
Post the damn picture. Everyone needs to see what you showed me. Awesome work, LPM!
Choo-Choo the gifting train just pulled into station and the ever-excitable Stimpy is here to help!
Wow it's travelled a long way hasn't it Stimpy? A LONG way! Over 9,000 miles (nearly halfway across the globe!!) so I think we could have a PA Secret Santa record here.
Stimpy gets ready for the giftening!
Ooo a letter, it's from Bursar!
The lack of cookies is completely understandable and I highly doubt they would have made it through customs anyway, so it's a good thing you didn't try Can't have your delicious lebkuchen killing our native wild life... *sigh*
ANYWAY! Stimpy has found something else!
SPLIT/SECOND!! This is one of the three arcade racing games (Blur and Modnation Racers) that came out about 2 weeks from each other and I was really indecisive about getting it because of the sudden and massive online loss of interest for Blur and the deal-breaking loading times and incredible difficulty of Modnation. I'll give it a spin and let you know how it goes, but it looks very impressive!
Wait, where'd Stimpy go?
Oh you :P
Big thanks for the game, Bursar!! Hope you have a safe and merry christmas

Uh.. So yea. A bit of backstory. LPM let me know that there were 3 gifts coming, but there was a bit of anxiousness surrounding this last one. I got the first 2 probably, a week and a half ago, but still no sign of #3. Until today. Check the mail after work and the gym and I have a slip to pick something up from the post office. Yes. Yes. A million times yes.
The Package.
The Security Layer.
The Note.
Now.. I know normally gifts are spoilered, but I cannot do that this time. This is the greatest thing I have ever been given. I said that before with the Oilers Sack Boy, but this has one upped it. No. It's 87563292 upped it.
Unfortunately this picture does not do the painting near enough justice. This thing is gorgeous. The biggest thing the picture loses is some of the color, and the canvas look over the middle part of the painting. In real life, it is solid color.
In case anyone here has been living under a rock the past number of years, or hates awesome things, this is a scene out of Half Life 2: Episode 2. I got a question from a friend (Redfield85 on here) asking me what my favorite game of all time was, and the Half Life series, especially #2 and Episode 2 was my response. I am still speechless with this gift.
A few more pics that TRY to better capture it. These were all taken from my iPhone, which doesn't have a flash. A bit darker, but doesn't show the canvas effect near as much. Looking at these pics again, it appears there's still some styrofoam on the painting. So ignore any white dots. Those don't actually exist.
Lewie Ps Mum. Wow. Cash value of all your gifts, maybe $30? $40 at the most? Actual value. Literally priceless. A game system, or a new movie or something can be replaced. These can't. This whole Secret Santa 2010 will never be replaced. Thank you doesn't even do all this justice. But thank you anyways.
Sorry it took so long! I went to the shower and ate some dinner first so that I have all the time to gorge myself on the presents!
And here they are! Big post incoming!
It comes with a note!
Of course, I couldn't resist and went straight for the tin!
Whatever could it be?
They look edible too!
Mmmmm... crunchy.
Some lack symmetry, but they make up for it with deliciousness!
Next up, gift number 2!
Wow! I did not expect this! I've heard great things about this show. I did catch it a few times on the telly, but it was dubbed and I had no idea what was going on since I jumped in the middle of it instead of watching from the beginning. Now I have the chance to make up for it.
Gift number 3!
Neato! This is like the perfect game for me, since I recently found out that I'm getting too old for hardcore RPGs. FFIV, Etrian Odyssey, Disgaea, I could't even finish one of them. Even Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Those parts with the panflute were so infuriating! The lightheartedness of this game will certainly brighten this pedestrian mind. Great stalking!
All of them in one photo. Can you spot the odd one out?
Wild biscuit appreared!
OH SH-
Thank you so much, Kor! And probably your wife too! Say thanks to her for me! You two have just made my Christmas! We don't really celebrate it here anymore, so these are the only gifts I get which makes it extra special! So many exclamation points, but it's the only way to describe my gratitude and this huge grin I have on my face right now! Cheers!
You think your Santa is nice, but he has cursed you. I guarantee you that after finishing Book 1 of Avatar you'll rush out to get Book 2 and 3.
And you should, because they get progressively more awesome.
Choo-Choo the gifting train just pulled into station and the ever-excitable Stimpy is here to help!

Went to the post office to pick up a package! But it was just my mates present that I ordered a while ago
Also if people are waiting for other UK santees to post I wouldn't panic. Our postal system is pretty delayed right now, what with the whole 2 inches of snow grinding the entire country to a halt.
It's not like this exact thing happened last year with the same consequences and everyone failed to prepare. Nope, not at all.
Hey, it's arrived!!! Finally, the threat of painting another made it materialise, phew!
I'm glad you like it, remlap13, and thanks for your kind comments everyone else
I can now sit back and relax while our wonderful post office fails to deliver anything else (I'm sure those RB microphones should have arrived by now). We have 4" of snow, everything stops.

Attention festive onlookers!
I will be without stable, consistent interwebs until sometime around next week. I'll try and update this as I can, but if someone can keep on top of it while I'm gone that'd be
You will need to ignore the fact that the box looks like it has already been opened as I um might have ordered some stuff from amazon myself and tore into it before realising this was my secret santa gift
My SS who I am guessing is wobblyheadedbob, if the gifting triangles continue their trend, got me some amazing books.
Inside the box was the following message "Adda! I hope this makes it to you in time. I have heard fantastic things about both these books. Hope you don't already have them!"
Not only do I not already own these books but I think they look amazing. Had a quick flick through them and I can tell I will really enjoy settling in to spend some quality time with them over the christmas holidays.
Thank you so so much, I don't normally buy myself non-fiction but currently have nothing to read and am going to be all over it.
Super secret santa hi5 and apologies to all for the extreme lack of narrative and cats in this post.
You were a little tricky to stalk. You only had a few forums that you frequented and even then it was only every now and again. I was originally planning on getting Sins of a Solar Empire for you as you seemed to like the space/strategy genre a lot, but then I saw your posts in the GT5 forum.
That plus your VW Avatar pretty much sealed the deal. Enclosed in your gift is a copy of Need For Speed: Underground - for when you'd like to leave realism behind for a few hours and instead drive a riced-out Dodge Viper through a windmill to obliterate the 15 police officers chasing your tail.
Along with that is a PSN network card - because DLC isn't free anymore and perhaps there's something on PSNetwork you'd like to get.
Merry Christmas to you!
- RisenPhoenix
Thank you very much, RisenPhoenix! I just picked up a wheel to play GT5 with, so now I have another game to get my driving skillz on with. Sorry I was difficult to stalk. I tend to have gaming ADD and bounce around all over the place.
