    Burtleboy makes me uncomfortable with his penguin love. I feel like I'm on an official NHL forum some time.

    Yes, you can decline a penalty shot as far as I know.

    Also Wings and Blues just went 8:10 without a whistle.

    Tie game on the 2nd five on three awarded to the Caps. Both on delay of game for shooting the puck over the glass.

    The one where they tied the game? Cooke iced it from behind the goal line, all the way down the rink, and over the glass behind the caps goalie.

    I mean, it was impressive, but .....ugh.

    Schneider showing some inexperience here, not very alert, allowing two goals in a third, and letting the Blue Jackets surge a bit.

    Nothing wrong with that, just a sign that he's not ready to be a starter. He's going to be a great NHL goalie one day...


    Also, I'm happy I don't have to hear about goalie controversy for a month.

    Pens/Caps was just an ugly game up until the third. Awkward and chippy. Third period and overtime were actual hockey, though, and fun to watch. About died during the shootout, though. Dupuis apparently can grow hands for it.

    Of all the teams we could have blown out, Columbus is one where I didn't want them to. I like Geron, I like Nash, and I like Arniel (used to be coach of the nucks farm team).
