    Also, I hate to admit it, but we're sometimes that disgustingly cute couple. But after being together for nearly 6 year, that's probably a good thing.

    So yami, yeah that's pretty BS. My cheap ass boss gave us $20 from that job that I got fired over. So, $15 is a rip and you should spit on your boss. This is solid advice.

    It's not even my boss. We're a huge company, so it's some administrative types in HR. So I give them a bit of leeway because it's a lot of employees. I'm still insulted, but tempered a bit.

    I don't know. I think it's Europe-wide (except where decorations and stuff stay up 'till 2nd Feb). It's all related to the Christian Church (Western Christians commemorate principally the visitation of the Biblical Magi to the Baby Jesus).

    So... it seems like I'm the only one who doesn't get the problem with the USS Enterprise "raunchy" video.

    I mean, of all the moral issues one could have about our current military situation, it's some guys using inappropriate language that we're worried about?

    Man, people here are angry. about 1/3rd of the people in this division double as Coast Guard, though, so I guess they have some perspective I'm missing. I just hear grumbling and shock all around me.

    Also, it only recently occurred to me that the reason that Catholicism is anti-birth-control is twofold:

    1) in regions where women are educated, the regions become more secular and have fewer children.
    2) The only way the Catholic religion is going to get any bigger is by Catholics having more children, because they're really not winning any converts these days.

    So, they don't want women getting not-pregnant because then they might get educated and might improve the plight of their country, which would mean fewer Catholics.

    Essentially, the Pope is a James Bond villain.

    Yay for being terribly absentminded.

    I pulled my Ice Cream Cake out of the freezer, and set it on the counter to defrost.

    I then got distracted by shiny video games and, upon deciding it was time to go to lunch, happened by the counter and noticed a puddle of ice cream and frosting.
