This time of year it can be tough depending on weather conditions going through the Siskiyous. In good weather, with limited construction/traffic, you can make the drive in 14 hours, assuming your gas and food stops are really quick. But in the winter you'll occasionally have to chain up to go over the pass, and that will slow things down a ton.
Is this a bad time to own up to not even owning chains for my car?
Go buy some before you leave.
That is not a drive you make this time of year without chains.

I'm just going to say that it would be a good idea to check the pass conditions on the morning you head out. Otherwise you might get to spend an extra night or two in lovely Yreka.

the tl;dr on st. elsewhere's ending is that the cops from Law & Order and 1960s Batman have teamed up with Mulder and Scully to fight aliens - oh, and this is canon across this and many more shows. Like I Love Lucy.

If only.
Or read the comic.
Or the semi-animated web shorts.
Or the rail-shooter.
Or the novel.
Or the casual mini-game collection.
Or the viewfinder wheel.
Or the humorously illustrated novelty toilet paper.
I had to explain that whole plot to the girl once. Which was tough since it happened when I was six or so.
Text based adventure one?

i should get around to finishing that. i quit after getting tasked with yet another fetch quest.
i'm sorry are we talking about wow or dead space?
To be honest the end of the game is a bit shit. I wouldn't fault you for just playing up to there and then watching the ending on youtube.
It was awful, even by awful Anime standards.
i thought you just started dating someone

It is a bit fetchy, but they are at least interestingly executed fetch quests most of the time.
Except the Sewers. Fuck them.
Something like that. I let it install over night.
St. Elsewhere really is the most "WTF?" ending on TV.
I'm going to give you a slow, unenthusiastic high five here brother. Then look down and sigh.
Vespers is kind of "scary" insofar as text adventures go. And Spider and Web manages to be reaaaaaaally tense.
You guys should play them.
Oh and Varicella too.
I'd feel sorry for you, if you weren't bragging everytime you fucked in chat, so right now all I've got is that troll smile.
