not that that's saying it's a bad song, as he's amazing so it's still a really good song

Pistols at dawn
Chicago isn't in my top 5, by contrast. It's a bit too twee, personally
in another universe we could have been music buddies
if only the devil music hadn't gotten you
That depends.
Did you like it?
No?
Then I guess not.
To you.
To a whole bunch of other people?
Yeah, apparently it was.

No. It is a big part in the music which you enjoy. There's a difference. Your view of music is incredibly skewed by what's popular. Music extends to outside of what's in the top 40 and Pitchfork at the moment.
Sure, but those are two merits that a lot of people just assume are easy or require no talent. Which is ridiculous. If that were the case, everyone on earth would have a number one single.
Well, no, wait; we like metal. Clearly, the worst genre of music.
But, seriously, I get the argument for catchiness. Catchy 'hook' riffs are important to hard rock and metal. Just, there's a difference between commercial success and artistic success. Granted, getting a few million club people to shake their asses is succeeding at moving people, but what about moving somebody on a deeper emotional level?
I mean, whatever.

I mean it was good, but was it Christina Hendricks good....eh
basically it is a set of gradations so fine you need an electron microscope to perceive them
Your elitism is showing, my dear.
making assumptions left and right here mike
dangerous way to live
music is an intensely personal experience and one man's dross is another man's gold
