I just learned that, not only do you not continue your character's story from Dragon Age (if applicable), you don't even get to make your own character. What kind of bullshit is that. I would much rather have a more customizable character than a fully voiced one.

Also apparently they are basing the dialogue on Mass Effect 2's dialogue

shit a brick and fuck me with it, I hate ME's dialogue

Man that last part is horrible.

where on earth did you hear that

It seems pretty retarded especially seeing how these are the exact same people as the ones who have made ME.

    Surely they can manage both.

I don't know. A woman at work has one because she is so heavily pregnant that she no longer usefully bends in the middle, but apparently they are also good for posture.

    Welcome to 8 months ago.

I haven't been following it terribly closely, but my understanding is, it's only similar to ME's dialogue in a loose sense.

Yes, it's radial. No, up is not always good, nor is down jerkish; each spoke has its own tone - sarcastic, joking, etc., and which-is-which is not static.

Yeah, I guess it's not so bad if you can still change the gender, but it still kind of sucks that they closed off the various origins in favor of voice acting for the PC

ME has just as many dialogue options as DA

Well I didn't comment on the amount of dialogue or dialogue options, but since you want to change the subject, no, it doesn't. Usually you get to ask some questions, and then, where applicable, you take either the renegade, neutral, or paragon option to advance the plot.

The average DA: Origins dialogue interaction had twice as many options as ME.

    But!

Half of those options were exactly the same as the other half in terms of the reaction you got from the NPCs.

    so
