I just learned that, not only do you not continue your character's story from Dragon Age (if applicable), you don't even get to make your own character. What kind of bullshit is that. I would much rather have a more customizable character than a fully voiced one.
Also apparently they are basing the dialogue on Mass Effect 2's dialogue
shit a brick and fuck me with it, I hate ME's dialogue

where on earth did you hear that
It seems pretty retarded especially seeing how these are the exact same people as the ones who have made ME.
Surely they can manage both.

What with me looking like this and the high tendency to have a slouched posture and an S-shaped spine going with that, I've drilled myself to keep my back straight if I can. But if I relax... S-shaped spine it is.

That info has been out a while.
it's completely wrong
one of the recent previews had some weirdo make a Lady Hawke who looked like Dhalsim
I need a thing to keep my shoulders back while sitting and stuff
Isn't that one of those awesome drawing chairs?
I don't know. A woman at work has one because she is so heavily pregnant that she no longer usefully bends in the middle, but apparently they are also good for posture.

Welcome to 8 months ago.
I haven't been following it terribly closely, but my understanding is, it's only similar to ME's dialogue in a loose sense.
Yes, it's radial. No, up is not always good, nor is down jerkish; each spoke has its own tone - sarcastic, joking, etc., and which-is-which is not static.

I think he means races. Hawke is a human no matter what. No origin stories.

Yeah, I guess it's not so bad if you can still change the gender, but it still kind of sucks that they closed off the various origins in favor of voice acting for the PC
I am curious, though, how being a mage is going to work when you are a Lothering refugee who lives in the Free Marches no matter what

couldn't he be a hedge mage? I barely remember that part of the lore, but the free marches don't really have much of a chantry presence, right?
I like to be able to choose what my character is saying in a role-playing game.
How does the literal:
"Good day to you, Ser Star of the Morning; I hope life is treating you well"
vs. the abstract
"(say good morning, respectfully)"
differ, if the character says the exact same thing? I don't necessarily like having to wade through 8 full sentences of dialogue, especially if it's unclear how the person I'm talking to will take my choice.

Does it give you any breathing/heart problems?
Cause otherwise I genuinely think pectus excavatum looks cool, it's like someone divided by zero in your chest.
..come to think of it I know of a Danish guy with pectus excavatum that's not too severe, but he went to military.

ME has just as many dialogue options as DA
Well I didn't comment on the amount of dialogue or dialogue options, but since you want to change the subject, no, it doesn't. Usually you get to ask some questions, and then, where applicable, you take either the renegade, neutral, or paragon option to advance the plot.

Hawke is an apostate
More specifically your dad was an apostate and taught your sister no matter what and you if you are a mage.

Damn yooou, caaaaat!
does ME not have enough brunette ladies saying 'tis after every word for you
I don't know. A woman at work has one because she is so heavily pregnant that she no longer usefully bends in the middle, but apparently they are also good for posture.
They may also be good for drawing.

-_-
Whenever I see this new acronym, I think of Jennifer Connelly and Requiem for a Dream.
And I die a little inside.
Let's play Mario Kart or something...

Film I mean. I hear it is good.

but like femshep she will be totally awesometronic

But!
Half of those options were exactly the same as the other half in terms of the reaction you got from the NPCs.
so
whatever
