    The beaurs.

Alright so, It's getting close to the time where I'm getting home again, and I've come to realize that with how I've been out of it for pretty much exactly four months(31pt talent trees dropped the night I left), with the leveling, gearing, and complete re-learning I'll need to do, it doesn't really matter who I choose to level.

My shaman will be brought up eventually, because Enhancement looks ridiculously fun again, but I don't feel like I have to bring my paladin back up. And Lede is thinking about bringing up a shaman for healing, and I plan to level a warrior with her, since Prot has always looked fun to me.

So I'm curious as to what the guild looks like/could use nowadays, to give me an idea of what to look at, since I don't want to go after other people's gear if we now have a bunch of new Holy paladongs since I left.

Hell, I might just off-spec Resto shaman too. It seems fun, and I never used that PVP spec anyway.

I think what we need are heroic tanks more than anything. I really haven't been signing up for raids lately so I don't know how the healing department is though.

What I switch to a healer and now we need tanks?

and yeah, after one night of max lever action, I am in love with my holy preist. I feel challenged enough to feel like a noob, and I needed that. Granted my gear sucks, but when my tank had bad gear I didn't feel like I could make jup for it with skill like I can on the priest. I made some strides last night and it would seem I should be another heroic healer.

Now if anyone has any interest in some pvp to gather up some conquest points, I would love to take my pvp shadow spec into arenas. I know they suck, but points. Points. Anyone interested?

Yeah, I'll probably just run up my Holy Paladin still. I still have bad memories of soul-crushing boredom leveling my Priest, and I don't want to push in on Gev and (eventually) Lede's healy mail jobs.

Still gonna be eyeing all those Agility axes, though.

I'll probably be dropping off the face of the planet (fuck calculus) for a while, but if I'm on (mannegishi) and you want a heroic, I'm almost always up for tanking it so say something or send me a whisper.

It's a shame I can't find any statistics on the new armory site for guilds.

When I tried to choose who to class to play the beasts, I informed my decision a bit with those statistics. At the time, shamen represented only like 7% of the players between 60-80 so I figured it was a safe bet. I also really wanted to play one.

My other choice might have been better in the end though! There are only three level 85 warlocks, which is under half of anything else and then some I think. I was too afraid of the DPS ques though...

Just updated my post again, on the last page, to add these points:

    - Leadership is not a position you can volunteer for, only officership.

    - Beast ranks have temporary invitation privileges for convenience until we can get a few more officers up.

You don't volunteer for leadership, you take it in a bloody, horrific coup.

What is the difference between the two?

Hey, so I've decided to take another crack at WoW what the newish expansion and all, and was wondering if I could join up with you classy gentlemen. I'm a pretty casual MMO player, so I probably won't be raiding anytime soon or anything, but I figure it'd be fun hanging out with some PA folks. I'm Gloamer, an undead priest on Ravenholdt.

I cancelled, my account runs dry in early Feb. Cata has been nothing but one big irritation after another. I found myself only logging on to do previous expansion content w/ my 85s.

Alert! I've created a second BoT10 raid for tomorrow evening. It's very short notice, I know, which is why I'm posting this up here as well. The idea is to get a feel for how many people we have that can make it on Thursday, and to catch any overspill--as it is, there are 13 people signed up for the existing raid. If there's sufficient demand for a second group, then a second group shall be formed.

Keep in mind that we'll possibly lack the numbers for it tomorrow night. We may have to select another night entirely, or give it another week with a bit more notice ahead of time. But if you are interested and able to go, your sign-up helps me to gauge how feasible this idea is.

There are also two BWD raids on friday; I can't make it to raid tomorrow in all probability, but is the intent that we all sign up for both, or what?

Doesn't really matter which you sign up for at this point, but just to gauge how many Beasts we do have interested in raiding and if we can support two raids simultaneously on those nights. I'm thinking that perhaps spreading it out over the week is better, just need to figure out the schedule of those who can attend them. Talking with Makershot I'm sure we can do a seperate raid each night Thursday to Monday, whether it be Cataclysm raids all the way down to Vanilla raids for achievements, legendaries or mounts. Leaving Tuesdays & Wednesdays for Baradin Hold.

So I am looking into going to PAX east, and I was wondering how many of you dudes that I now actively "hang" with might be along the east coast that are thinking of going as well. Mainly, anyone who might not be afraid of me raping them that might wanna split a hotel.

I missed last year because of my previous unemployment and being unable to catch up (also buying a droid, which I don't regret) but I am definately going this year. If you live in the general area of Philly, I could even help you out with a ride (or well, on the path from Philly to Boston.

Let me know, cause I would like to know someone there and the only people I really actively know from PA now are in this guild.

My wife has given me the same answer, but shes not into the whole pax thing, so she would be just finding things to do.

Which she is incapable of doing on her own, so I think that means she isnt going. Which is why I am looking :D

Ive found a few decent ones for not too bad. But then again I dont need to be right next door, I branched out a little ways. Assuming I end up on my own, I

-Plan on only spending time in my room to sleep
-Will have a vehicle, so I am willing to drive or take transport or whatever

I guess I need to figure out parking or something, unless there is some parking for attendees available.

That being said, I did find a few places for around 70-80 a night that don't seem cockroach ridden. I mean a hotel is a hotel for the most part, so as long as I can sleep I think I am good.

Also I guess I would prolly only be sleeping there friday and saturday night. I can make the drive back sunday night myself.

Since my video card exploded this week I'm screwed until my warranty replacement arrives(4-6 weeks, oh boy) or I say fuck it and buy a new one anyways. I can run the game with my motherboard's built in card but the word run is generous, I'd say it can jog the game.

I got my first blue screen of death in years this morning, so I guess it can't even do that. Looks like I might just buy a new card and try to sell the replacement when it comes or something.

Sindy is going to be the biggest pain in the ass. Some are pushovers (the entire plague wing, for example), and some require a bit of strategery but nothing is really that major.

e: Then again, I suppose we could just normal-mode it and burn her down before anyone hits five stacks.

The hardest part will probably be the sindy achievement, which is likely to still require practice. But we did most everything else without trouble, including H-LK.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to make the tuesday run. But I'm sure we'll go back to get dragons for more people.
