    Maybe Squirrels are Rangers?

And how could you forget the Voles man? The Voles?

    Voles are pussies.

    So are rabbits.

Shrews can be... i dunno, some form of rogue.

Alignment determined completely by race. How very unprogressive.

yeah even when I was younger the whole 'species determines whether they're good or not' made me sort of uncomfortable

Is it just me or does Brian Cox look like Brian Jacques. Also their names rhyme. Think about it.

Sadly, I never really got into the Redwall series. Just never quite caught my attention, until I was too old to get into it, I think.

It's a shame Jacques is gone, though. There's never a good time to lose someone who brought something awesome into our lives.

I am, however, a huge fan of Mouse Guard comics, which are heavily Redwall inspired.

Seriously, check it out. It's fucking amazing.

So what you're saying is that all Brians look alike to you.

    You're a brianist.

Thing was so damn cool, the poster actually was really big and stayed on my wall for a long time. Sadly this is the only picture I can find of it.

I don't care how he says it was pronounced, he's wrong.

I have that too! There was also a whole series of those companion-books about the different species, but I think I only ever got the Mice and Badgers one.

I shall try to find it and post an embiggened picture.

It's not. The comic itself is actually 8x8 inches, rather than the standard design, and doesn't present any problems with reading the text.
