Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Because publishers still have play the "Placate the Retailers So They Don't Fear Us TOO Much" game.
Anyway, Portal 2... Do I even WANT a 20-25 hour Portal? I don't know! I think I might wait and see what people say when it comes out before decided if I need it ASAP or if I can wait for an uber-sale. (Who am I kidding? I expect "ASAP")
Didn't someone (or several someones) say the single player is expected to be around 6-7 hours, and about the same for Co-op? I can't imagine this game being anywhere near 20+ hours.

I like it.
You can see Chell from behind at the top of the press page on the website. There's also the cover of some french magazine that shows her clearly.
But that does not mean a direct link to the PS3 while on the PC (nor was I expecting that, that's a lot to ask). So if I get a trophy on the PS3, I'll get the achievement on Steam, but if I get an achievement on Steam, will I get the trophy on the PS3?
That's because you know where everything is now and how to beat all the puzzles. How long did it take to beat you the first time? Multiply that by 2 and that's about how long they're thinking each campaign will be (so, all combined, around 4 times the length of Portal 1)
I think when you're playing on PS3 you'll get both, it I'd be very surprised if you got trophies from playing on PC. It wouldn't be too hard to do, but I'm saying no simply because you're not running the XMB on the PC.

That's what I figured. I certainly do not expect them to have connectivity both ways. I only figured we'd get both achievement and trophy if you're playing on the PS3.

You can go for release-date shipping through them but I dunno how expensive that is compared to the other options.
Rock Band DLC / A Cheesecake Recipe / Xbox Live
I was already getting the PS3 version anyway but... Wow.
I wonder how well it will work?
Considering they're making a version of Portal 2 specifically for the Razer Hydra, I'd guess fairly well.
They also announced a while ago that the PC version will be compatible with the Razer Hydra, which is a controller somewhat similar to the PS Move. There's also going to be a bundle with it and Portal 2.
Oh gosh oh gosh.
edit:
I pronounce it bee-log.
It's going to be a good year for games.
It seems like they're working on move support but are unsure if it will actually make it to the game.
Well, shit. The Razer thing is still pretty cool.

PAX Prime 2013 Buttoneering!
I'm starting to go slightly loopy waiting for this, I think. I haven't anticipated a release this much since the sixth Harry Potter book.
Discover the missing experiment
The Borealis, anyone?
Would be super awesome if Portal 2 has an Ep3 teaser at the end, like Ep1 had an Ep2 teaser.
Warning contains a major spoiler!
I'll see you guys in two months.

He's totally the head of the CIA in Burn After Reading.
J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman
Well, if you want to be obvious, sure.
Heh, those two are the other characters I immediately think of.
He's such an awesome actor!
He's going to be in the new Last Airbender show too. And was just on Raising Hope as Burt's brother.
Been in a lot of things.
