I totally get the notion of being quieter and fewer distractions. I went from 8 years in a marketing department in an office to telecommuting from my own home office and the reduction of noise and "traffic" made me so much more efficient it wasn't even funny.
Maybe have a pow wow with everyone in about a month's time or something.
Having worked in an office environment, when you split people up like this, it does cause a bit of a disconnect in certain cases.
Make sure you put a projection of the website up, give them a sharpie, and ask them in your serious voice "What is wrong with this website?"
and watch the blood drain from their faces...
