So I gotten to the part where

    late game spoilers
    The collectors invaded the Normady.

Okay, I loved Joker quotes, but why exactly did Sheperd and the entire crew of badasses leaved the ship?

Was it just to give Joker 15 minutes of fame?

    That part always bugged me.

Lets all go do this random mission that is never mentioned. lalala

Oh God, I wish I could forget that part ever existed. In a game whose main narrative is weak, that part was probably the weakest, I mean, they don't even make an attempt at justifying it. It was stupid, and lazy on Bioware's part

I think it's implied that part is somewhat of a flashback. The mission is supposed to be the mission you just went on. Or something.

    It doesn't really make sense.

Also, Jacob's "we got a good thing going here Shepard, let's not push it" is incredibly creepy to me.

Do probes harvest tons of materials?? I was under the impression that your mining yield was being measured in grams.

I certainly don't think it's tons. I don't think 500 tons of palladium is going to fit in a briefcase sitting on a table.

If i worked this out correctly 500 short ton's of palladium takes up...37799 cubic metres of space

There is massive rounding errors but w/e

Read through the comic, and it had some interesting ideas. The ME ones were pretty good.

Your calculation sounds way, way off. Metals are usually dense as all heck.

Wolfram Alpha says it's a 2.87m per side cube. Which is still too much to comfortably fit in your back pocket, even for Shepard.

I always though when you surveyed you were looking for deposits and you had some kind of mining crew to pick it up.

Which makes why you need so much even more ludicrous.

So I beat the game for the first time

    ending spoilers:
    Everyone survived.
I kept the base non-explodey to have good techs for reaper invasion
    I saved my crew

Did I made the right choice?

Well...except for working with dirty, dirty Cerberus you did.

But seriously...as long as everyone survived I would say it's cool.

The last two posts are why I love this thread.

Well, that and Mass Effect is pretty great, but mostly it's the constant calls for/against horrible, horrible NSFW fan art.

The dress is DLC. All other femshep outfits have pants. It's that simple. I'd say the devs didn't think of that, but they thought of probing Uranus and planned ahead.

Maybe they thought it would be funny.

The biggest problem I have with Femshep is her walk.

She looks like she wants to grab her crotch and adjust her penis, especially when on Purgatory.

I think this is just Shepard's personality (!!), she's a soldier and is not comfortable in a dress or at social events, which is why she's also awful at dancing

Well, 2001 came out a similar length before Jeff Moreau, and he remembers that film fairly well.
