Beat it with my first run with Lady Hawke the Mage
Excellent ending.
I totally saw Anders' crazy terrorist act coming. After it happened, fucking knifed his dumb ass. Sorry lover boy, being a crazed extremist is not the way into my heart. Between him and my fling with Isabella I just can't pick a lifemate (I'm secretly saving myself for Varric)

I, too, enjoyed the ending greatly.
I was annoyed by Anders the entire game. In Awakening, he was comedy relief. In DA2, he was a sulky, antagonistic douche to everyone, save Varric and, occasionally, Hawke.
All that said, I actually felt pretty sorry for him when I knifed him. Sure, he was a terrorist. He was also revolutionary with an (ultimately) just cause he believed in and no one on his side. Mainly, he just looked so unhappy right up until the spark left his eyes. The scene was extremely well done, in any event.

I don't think his cause was just. Maybe if he just wanted to free all Mages. But it didn't end there. He also wanted to kill all Templars who confined them. That's what "Justice" was to him.
Saved the mages, had Fenris turn on me. He lasted exactly as long as it took me to hit Mark of Death and Assassinate. Poor, poor gibbed Fenris. Lost Isabela halfway through the game, although apparently I ended up with her post-game even though I slept with Merrill. Can't figure that one out.

I don't think he planned to wipe out the templars.
He just wanted to wipe out their main office, and throw their ranks into chaos.
Which, to be fair, was at least partially motivated by a knight commander who was off her nut.
Compare things to the way at the Ferelden Circle, wherein Gregoir only called upon the Rite of Annulment when he thought all the living mages had become abominations, as opposed to Meredeth who wanted to have them all killed purely out of retribution for the actions of a mage not even part of the circle.

It was surprisingly easy for me to get him to come back to my side after I brought up his feelings about slavery.
He responded to it like Gabe Newell seems to respond to any question.
I beat the high dragon in 1 try on normal. I didn't even know it was coming up but I lucked into having a party with Anders. He was fuckin' MVP with his healing mode. It still took all my healing potions and several restoration/elfroot ones though.

I also had no idea it was coming. I was just walking toward a quest marker and then WHOOSH. Dragon flies over head.
Sebastian's not so bad. He's got his own versions of the Decoy skill from the Shadow tree and Unforgiving Chain/Explosive Strike from the Dual Weapon tree.

It's a known epilogue bug.

So I made a warrior and decided to make her look less girly, more tough lady
gotta get all those books
and there's some quest involving a possession?
"My dear Viscount, there are some ladies here to see you."
"Ladies! Really? *pokes head out door* Oh god they've come for my head hide me"
Armor of the Wall
though the Champion's Gear is pretty sweet for a mage.
Champion's Gear is all "I'm an apostate and I don't give a fuck"
thankfully my dog loves being a tank

It has blowjobs
Partywise, he doesn't. He's the same as varric, except worse.
my chair just snagged my headphone cable and ruined my headset
good bye voicechatting in multiplayer for a while
Also
USE THE FEATHER
What should I be looking for stat and ability-wise if I want to tank most of the time?
Drink it.
