Persona 3 - Making the most of fake anime friends

So I just picked up Persona 3 Portable, and holy crap it's awesome. But, I want to make sure I'm not screwing three important things up:

1) Max Social Ranks: I maxed out the Kendo team, and now, that character no longer shows up. Is there any point in continuing to go to practice, or is that it? I was actually enjoying that storyline, and I wouldn't want to miss things.

2) Experience: The game says that experience is split when you take more party members to Tartarus. Is the value that is displayed after each battle the already split experience, or is it the number that is going to be divided?

3) "The Fool" Social Link (your team): It seems that this one is only rising with each big encounter - is there any way to interact with Junpei, Yukari, etc outside of the main story progression? (In case there is, but it's spoilerly, I just completed the full moon that takes you to the hotel).

If you can't find your answer here, there's a dedicated Persona thread over in G&T that skips along pretty quickly.

"At first he thought it might be a natural occurrence - maybe a rabbit. But upon closer inspection, it was clear a knife had been used. And rabbits don't carry knives."

I haven't played this particular title, but for question #2, couldn't you just note the character's experience before and after the battle to get the answer to that?

I got my answers in the other thread, thanks!

For number 2: I tried checking it that way, but since your experience goes to your characters and their summons, which you can swap in and out, I just wanted to double check. I wasn't sure how it was being divided.
