So has the multi that was suggested to be in three been quietly dropped?

Haven't seen it talked about in the features at all.

    It has been explicitly denied.

I still don't see how they think that MP would work for Dragon age, but not for ME...

    There are rumors for both.

Just beat ME1 first time as maleshep paragon.

Going to move on to ME2 now, but later going to do another run as femshep renegade on a harder difficulty.

Question: I did not get a single one of those "ally" achivements. To get them, do you have to have that person with you on majority of the missions, or is it based on time, or what? I tended to vary my party a lot, based on description of the mission/planet. Also, I barely reached lvl 50 off the Geth on way to last fight, and I did everything I could find, how is one supposed to get to 60?

You can't get to Level 60 on your first play through. You can only get to Level 50. Play again with the same character.

And yes, the ally achievements are a majority of the game. Sucks.

Dunno if one run would work (probably, with all the bonuses), but once you unlock 60 as a potential level, it is accessible by all your characters for future runs. No need for for a NG+.

No, you can't on the first run before you get the achievement for 50, there's a cap, and there just isn't enough points in one run.

Some people have to do an NG+ at 58-59. And it takes them the entire playthrough. I wouldn't try to hit 60 with a new character.

59-60 requires as much exp as 57-59, too. So getting to the max is a pain.

I'm hoping they let us have 3 member squads, like the DA series. 2 is not enough, 3 would allow for more interesting combat scenarios, and more interesting squad-banter, which is another thing I hope they bring over from the DA series.

Honestly, I don't mind the squad size.

But I would like them to take the party interaction system that Dragon Age has.

Just having your characters converse every now and then goes a long way to giving them more personality.

it would be nice if occaisionally they engaged each other in a little conversation with the other squadmates like when you go visit your mates in DA2.

I mean I would have liked a little more banter between Tali and Garrus since they're the returning vets. I think all we got is a joke about elevators and tali's pilgrimage.

The fact that Hudson said he can't confirm or deny that leads me to believe it is probably the case.
