On an unrelated note, Artisan doesn't bear any striking similarities to da Vinci, does he?

in that he is a bearded man with a honkin' schnoz and long hair perhaps

he used to compare himself to da vinci sometimes

then the vitruvians came along and took the image of the vitruvian man as the symbol of their "pure human" supremecist movement.

and it stopped being cool to be like da vinci

Oh holy shit seriously? Cause I actually thought I gave him a kinda big nose in the picture. Well, that's one thing I don't have to worry about anymore.

naw it's supposed to look like that.

jack state is a man of very mixed racial heritage

To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies—all this is indispensably necessary. Even in using the word doublethink it is necessary to exercise doublethink. For by using the word one admits that one is tampering with reality; by a fresh act of doublethink one erases this knowledge; and so on indefinitely, with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth."

Pony, I liked this quote more

"If one is to rule, and to continue ruling, one must be able to dislocate the sense of reality. For the secret of rulership is to combine a belief in one's own infallibility with the power to learn from past mistakes."

Discretion's the better part of survival, you could say, though I suppose a re-color is workable now that he's not running from The Man.
I wonder how magical stuff interacts with the temporal field? I've been pondering that a lot, actually. Like, if Transfer and Wordsmith fought, Wordsmith's ability would not accidentally hit Wordsmith if they were swapped- the Lexicon would double-back and try to hit Transfer.
...to be honest, I'm not sure. I guess it'd be weakened like everything else because of the dialation - difference between turning a flamethrower on a guy and inching closer and closer and closer still with a lighter, or maybe it simply can't get a "hold" of him like with psychic stuff.
