Well, I have a few options. These are listed in no particular order and I welcome your opinions.

    1) I could jump us, though the chance of losing population is still relatively high.
    2) I could get a pair of Mark VIIs up to flight-ready status.
    3) I could head to Pegasus and fire the Main Batteries at Starboard-Quarter; I have a card I can happily discard to get there.
    4) I could scout the Destination Deck.

The only thing I have any reservation against is scouting the Destination deck. If I find a good location, then my action is wasted. If I find a bad location and discard it there is no way for you all to be sure that I threw away a bad one. Plus there's no guarantee the next two are going to be any better. I think Scouting is of much more use once both toasters are revealed.

What say you all? I am personally leaning toward the Main Batteries; thin their numbers a bit before we leave them in our space dust.

I personally wouldn't mind a Mark VII fueled up when I get to the ship, so I can help deal with the Cylon fleet.

    I'd say go main batteries.

Though a scout is never "wasted" on a good destination. It's all about getting better odds of someplace good, and if you can ensure the odds are 100%, all the better.

Tenek, do we have two Vipers out, or three? The space areas show 3 but the ship reserves only indicate two.

Once we jump, we'll have a couple of turns to spare before the Cylon Fleet catches up. We'll have to find some time during that period to get the Mk VII Vipers online.

Head to the Main Batteries, discarding Tactics 0 - Trust Instincts to get there. Fire upon Starboard Quarter.

Starbuck coordinates with Gaeta and provides him with a perfect shot. Unfortunately, Mr. Gaeta dropped a negative somewhere in his calculations. The light show is impressive, but the Cylons are still there to clap at the end. 1d8 = 1 + 2 = 3 - No vipers to damage.

On the heels of this failure, news of the Six's presence leaks and Admiral Helo has some unpleasant decisions to make.

    Unwelcome Faces

    Admiral Chooses
The Admiral must discard all of his skill cards and then choose a character to send to the Brig.
    OR
-1 morale and damage Galactica once.
    (activate raiders)
    (jump prep)

Admiral, will you protect the fleet or the crew?

I don't care about my hand THAT much, but I'd hate to send someone to the Brig who didn't deserve it. I'm leaning towards the second option but would welcome input from the Fleet.

Fuck me, a one, when anything else would have resulted in at least 2 destroyed Raiders? Don't suppose anyone has a Calculations and can bump that up to a 2?

Ugly crisis, that. Perhaps Tory has a Pardon? You could send her to the Brig; she'd keep the Presidency, would activate Caprica Six for the Jump Prep advancement (Tory said that visiting Caprica Six wouldn't be bad) and could Pardon herself out right away.

Only problem with that is Tory will have to draw a Trauma token for starting her turn there.

If madame president has a pardon, we just put someone who plays after her in the brig- she could stay in the president's office and activate it on her turn, get a free quorum card and then pardon whoever she brigs.

And get cards out of the deal for being Tory.

I see nothing wrong with this plan, other than not getting the jump prep we'll likely get for free once the first person is brigged.

Fair point... it all hinges on whether or not she actually has a Pardon, heh.

If she does, and she goes to the brig, she has to draw a trauma token but we'll also get the free jump prep.

If she does, and anyone else goes to the brig, they won't have to draw trauma but we won't get the jump prep.

Tory'll get her two draws for playing the quorum card either way... I'd say it's up to her to decide if the trauma cost is worth the prep. She has no tokens, so one more wouldn't hurt (plus she'd be placing it down right away anyway), but it could be Disaster and that'd suck.

Then again, if she doesn't have a Pardon then it's probably safer to damage galactica/pegasus... we can repair the damage and we have a morale to burn.

We have a lot of cards, and getting someone out of the brig wouldn't be that hard.

I'd rather keep Morale high and the battlestars relatively undamaged, if possible.

Helo directs the fleet right into an asteroid field. -2 Fuel. One of the civilians turns it into a debris field as well. -1 Population

    game33turn6.png

Active Quorum Cards: Assign Vice President (Helo)
Action: Draw 2 politics cards and give this card to any other player.
Keep this card in play. While this player is not President, other players may not be chosen with the "Administration" location.

    Allies:
    Caprica Six (Brig)
Benevolent Result: Cooperative Cylon Prisoner - Advance the Jump Preparation track by 1.
Antagonistic Result: Delusional - Discard 3 random skill cards and then draw the top 2 cards of the Destiny deck and add them to your hand.
    Helena Cain (Command)
Benevolent Result: Uncompromising - You may choose another character to be executed.
Antagonistic Result: No Room for Mistakes - The Admiral is sent to the Brig.
    D'Anna Biers (Press Room)
Benevolent Result: Investigative Journalist - Gain 1 Morale.
Antagonistic Result: Opportunistic Cylon - Draw 2 trauma tokens or discard 3 skill cards.

    Turn Progress:
    1. Receive Skills - 3 Pol, 1 Ldr, 1 Tac
    2. Movement Step - Stay in President's Office
    3. Action Step - Activate President's Office; Draw Quorum Card
    4. Crisis Step - Bomb Threat
    5. Activate Cylon Ships Step - (activate raiders)
    6. Prepare for Jump Step - (jump prep)

Tory feels briefly nauseous as the fleet jumps. The Cylons have been left behind only briefly, so she will have to make the most of her time until they return.
