I thought that was just part of your hyphenated last name after your mom married that door-to-door VHS cleaning kit salesman.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
And luckily the stupid GameStop rewards things lets me look at all my trades and stuff. So I know I didn't trade it in. I must of lost it in this mess I live in
My team was Rogue/Chun-Li in that game. This was back when Chun-Li was somehow completely invulnerable to hits (not throws) at the end of her Senretsu Kyaku super.
And back in '97 there was this one guy who I was having a really hard time playing, as his Sabretooth combos just kept going and going off a jump-in or high/low mixup. I think that was the first time in a fighting game where I stopped and planned, "Ok, how do I counter this?" And then I beat him. I think a lot of it involved being airborne so I didn't have to worry about blocking low. Or something like that.
Too bad it takes so much programming work for too little return to port these things. I'd like to see everything back to CotA brought back to modern systems.
Ah. I'd been playing MSHvSF and MvC1 in the arcade much more recently than that. Wolverine/anyone is an especially good meter-building team in the former. Just superjump, mash MP, and after a few repetitions of that you'll have full super for him or his teammate to use.

The first time I ever beat this game was with Rogue and Gambit.
I'm so glad I lived two hours away from the nearest machine. The fact that every character pair had an ending would have completely wrecked my shit if I'd had more access.

would literally pay full retail price for a port of this game on xbla
My brother played this same team and he was sick nasty with it.

Because he died in X3, which is canon.
Assuming you had a modded Saturn with a 4MB RAM cart.
