We were that way till the first week of May. We had under 2 inches of moisture through March and April, our wettest months. Then in 2 weeks we got almost 6 inches of rain. It has rained a bit here and there after that. So we are happy. We were a major tinder box till then. But the problem it added more snow to our snow pack. We are one of those places with 300% or more snow pack and already we have some flooding starting. We are pretty afraid of massive floods once we get a real week of 80+ degree days.
I mean this is the first I remember the Colorado river flooding in the western Colorado. They are still saying when it comes it will be worse than 1983 which was major flooding all across the major rivers here.
