No, that man lives in many areas besides the south. I've personally met him in my home state of Pennsylvania several times. Usually at gun shows, fishing spots, hunting club events, and things of that nature.
No really. I've seen this kind of guy all up and down California, in Oregon, and in Illinois. I'd say Texas too but I include Texas as part of the south so anyway.
