    I remember the highlander cartoon the kid found an assault rifle and basically fucked everyone up with it.

    Bitching about Conan in the future has me thinking about how much I want to see a Kamandi cartoon. Not that it is close to the idea of future Conan.

    John Carter is basically who I wanted to be when I grew up. He's like Superman without all the lame shit about truth and justice. Instead he's just a hopped-up Appalachian with a sabre who goes around chopping up Goro monsters and banging Martian broads and hanging out with a giant green lion-dachshund.

    I'm not at all sure about the movie, though. Those books are basically what you point to when you're talking about the concept of "unfilmable."
